Share anything that's inspired you to work on your game, or that might inspire others - It doesn't have to be DOS related!

I've been studying the work of this illustrator, who works in a style that seems excellent for DOS game backgrounds, even if it's not pixel art. Flat shapes that still capture depth! The trees in particular are inspired.

These things are what inspired me to get on with the game: Julian Gollop's pre-XCOM squad combat games, and my love for the 49 year old Traveller tabletop RPG.
