This was my first jam. I've learned a lot, and would like to run a better one for you next year!
If you have a minute or two, please feel free to fill out this feedback form. Every question is optional, and any insight helps.
Thanks so much.

Hi all!
I wanted to collate links to streams where people have played any/all of the jam games, in case anyone wants to check them out!
I'll be updating these as I dig up more, and feel free to post any you know about/your own! Unfortunately Twitch erases VODs after a couple of weeks for most streamers, so several may expire - I'm trying to link to more permanent videos where possible.

Silly DOS woman (me)
I felt it was unfair, inviting people to make DOS games without attempting it myself! I really wanted to encourage other people with no gamedev experience. But in turn, excellent submissions from people like yourself have now inspired me to become less amateur! Thanks a bunch for taking the time, in every respect!
I'm so terribly sorry I didn't get the chance to give this (or any of the games) as much dedicated attention as it/they deserved on stream. I was completely enamoured regardless, and so were many members of my community, which says a great deal! I'm absolutely going back to this, armed with Zeta, and giving it the loving attention it's entitled to.
I really love this very distinctive aesthetic your games have! It makes it feel like a truly memorable experience. This was extremely satisfying to play, and I think it has such incredible potential for Twitch integration! Looking forward to playing it through again, and having a toy with the other options.
The animation when you lean into the frog was my favourite part, except for every other part of the entire game being my favourite part. Your attention to detail in the fluidity of your animations is so incredibly inspiring. Magnificent use of the palette - I'm still thinking about how beautiful that tree looked.
Thank you so much, I'm so glad you found things to enjoy about it!
You're entirely right about the text! I'm basically entirely new to gamedev, and despite wanting to make something intentionally amateur and imperfect, I do apologise for the lack of accessibility.
I tried SO MANY THINGS to make the text more legible, but my current skill combined with this palette made it darn tricky! I'm already working on a more refined game in the engine, and will definitely take the text speed feedback on board.
I really appreciate your kind-yet-constructive feedback, especially from an AGS pro!
Hi! Thanks for asking this.
Several people are intending to update their projects after the jam deadline!
The main goals of this jam were to encourage/promote creativity in general, link people across various DOS communities, and to encourage more DOS creations overall.
If you want to keep going on any of those fronts, post-jam, I think that's a wonderful thing!
Incredible. Fantastic. Magnificent. And I only just finished Chapter 1. I haven't been so enamoured and enraptured by an adventure game in this way in such a long time, and your use of the palette delights me at every turn. I started streaming this today, and am fervently requesting (demanding) everyone buys it. I was going to start with the Demo, then give it a breather, but I couldn't resist. Really loving it a whole heap of a lot.
The small details in this are amazing, it's so thoughtfully crafted. Sure, there are a few small issues with the verb bar, but those can easily be ironed out.
A lot of indie adventure games take themselves too seriously, or are too intentionally 'kooky' for my tastes. This was literally perfect, it's just so charming. I want more. Please make more.
