Not sure if that is intended, but the game is extremely frustrating and rage inducing. I got stuck on two levels for like 5 minutes having to redo them multiple times in a row. And I wasn't even trying to complete it before the timer. Wall sliding is very frustrating, it was useful less times than it caused me my anger when player starts to slide the wall when on the ground and refuse to jump or do anything. The timer above gives me like 30 seconds while I had to spend 5 minutes to clear the level, because one slip up causes you to parkour up and try again. The level with switching platforms with a button was extremely fun until I got decently high and I just kept falling and falling again and again without an ability to reach the top. I just gave up after a certain amount of tries. The base is really good and could be fun but I feel like the levels are extremely untested. The difficulity spike is vertical from the first levels to these two.

I fell into the same situation.

Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to write such detailed feedback! I really appreciate it.

My idea was to make the game challenging without punishing the player too much. That’s why you can’t die, and you can always finish a level even if you don’t beat the timer. The timer was meant as an optional challenge that becomes easier as you learn and get better at each level.

From your experience, it seems like that didn’t work out quite as well as I intended, so that’s definitely something for me to think about.

I also noticed the issue with the wall sliding, but unfortunately I ran out of time to fix it before the jam ended. And looking back, I probably should have introduced the double jump more clearly as well.

Could you tell me which two levels you got stuck on for around five minutes? I’d really like to take another look at them and understand where you had the most trouble.

Thanks again for the feedback and for giving the game a try!
