Interesting idea i'll take a  deeper look at later. Though, one issue i have from the get go: the disclaimer plays every time you back out of a menu when starting the game, which gets annoying fast after you've already seen it once and just wanna see what characters do what. speaking of which, it shows that info when you enter main(?) character select anyhow, so i don't totally get why it's there?

I feel bad for you. Nobody should play this. Not only cause it's poorly made and a rip-off of much better games-the creators isn't all there in the head. Gets himself banned from alot of discussions cause he cannot stop arguing and pushing his weird antisocial attitude.

"Poorly made"

To be honest, this is a game I put together for fun, not trying to be Claire Obscur Expedition 33 or anything. Just a silly fatfur game. That being said, I still want the game to have it's potential for enjoyment with a unique central gimmick, stages with their own mechanics (like how just about every stage in the post game has its own puzzles and obstacles to deal with), plus making custom (though ugly) sprites and backgrounds for 95% of the graphics, with a few sprites made by other people.

"Rip-off of much better games"

...Like what? Please show me a JRPG where the central mechanic is growing bigger and boss-like, or a JRPG where hostage situations are common. Because I came up with those ideas myself. I didn't rip them off from other games.

"the creators isn't all there in the head. Gets himself banned from alot of discussions cause he cannot stop arguing and pushing his weird antisocial attitude."

Because I don't appreciate people fighting tooth and nail to defend things like bigotry towards furries, environmental destruction, human narcissism, nature/non-human demonization, the idea that humanity should not be held accountable for things like genocide just because they're humans, etcetera etcetera? Things that are absolutely horrible, yet THOUSANDS of people guard with their lives because they don't give a shit? And I have to be the only one fighting against these things most of the time because no one else will? At this point, I don't care if I keep getting banned for standing up for what I believe in, and I will continue to do so no matter how many places I get banned from.

I appologize. I've kinda moved on from this game and started working on the sequel, but it's never too late to come back and fix some things that are broken with the original game.

I started playing some more, and wanted to share some of my more notable thoughts. for context, i just got into "LvCh4Labs" and into the digital space:

- how long do stat changes last?? this is a big one for me, because my lead is a buff/debuff heavy one (maya) and so having next to no indication how much vigor/belly drum buffs, how long it lasts, if they stack, etc. is really frustrating. same with status conditions: you don't know how long stun/fear/etc lasts until you're about to attack a target.

- The balloon creature seems kinda useless in a fight? he can amp his speed and heal some statuses, which was useful for exactly one battle, but can't do much of what you'd want a support to do besides curing ailments. no heals, no buffs, no debuffs, just... sitting there and doing jack for damage. i really wanted to make them work, but i gave up on them after a while.

- what do the flash items do, and why are they character(?) locked? reveal evil? what does that mean in this context?

-the game menu stops responding for a second while an attack is going off. this was annoying at first but otherwise fine, but it became actively detrimental during fights with a really fast opponent, because i couldn't tell if i was safe in a menu or not; you need to pick a ready character first in order to freeze time, and while they do flash (once) to indicate ready status, i'm not looking there; i'm looking at the health bars on the bottom or the menu on the other end. i ended up resorting to opening the skills menu just to see who i was attacking with at a given time.

- does the gas mask actually work?? it says it prevents poison, and poison is brutal if you're playing solo (which i did, on occasion), and yet i seem to get this condition where i lose hp on every attack, ally or enemy? dunno what's causing it, if i'm causing it or an enemy is, because the move descriptions sometimes aren't helpful and there's again, no feedback on what i'm inflicted with besides a sprite change indicating something is wrong.

- the chest double check is... kinda silly, imo. most people won't look twice in these chests, and it's lead to at least one moment where i open a chest, forget to look again, and have to walk back just for it to be blank. just... give me the items the first time? it's a funny idea in theory but tedious in practice.

- this one's a personal gripe, but Aroma is barely a cameo because she doesn't even have a portrait, just a line stating she's Aroma. :( (also you can walk forward into the door after shopping fsr)

These are all the thoughts i have about the gameplay so far, (not to mention stuff like the music, with which my only gripe with that is the regular battle theme is slightly lacking). The characters are actually quite endearing and they all feel mostly distinct, while still having their own niches (buffs, debuffs, support, mage, dps, tank)

I know this game isn't being worked on at all, but i hope some of these points will be considered for the sequel and onwards.

I can come back and fix things. Like, the thing with the intro is absolutely fixable, but I do want to say that the stat-boost timer, state indication for enemies, and the game menu thing are, unfortunately, limitations of the RPG Maker 2003 program. Can't do nothing about those, unfortunately.

Balikari, in my experience, gets some pretty OP moves. Bottled Wind, especially, is super useful as it gives the target Haste, which allows them to attack more often. This is super useful when used in conjunction with Maya, who can buff attack.

I'm not sure what you're referring to with the gas mask. I'll have to do more testing.

Chest double-checking was something I thought I'd try. I haven't really gotten many opinions on it, but I can remove it if it's an issue.

Aroma appears later in the game as part of a puzzle fight where you have to face three characters, take them to a certain HP threshold WITHOUT knocking them out. There, she gets an image, so adding it to the shop is doable.

Ok, so buffs are timed? Good to know, but also unfortunate info can't be made clearer. I'll make do.

Bottled wind, the move, or bottled wind, the item? in the case of the former it self targets (to my knowledge, maybe i need to double check), but in the case of the latter i may not have been using it as intended (been exclusively using the move not knowing any better), so that's likely on me.
is there a bag sort button, btw? would help organize between battle items and key items and other items.

I feel like it had something to do with one of the moves the enemy was using? but i couldn't tell you what. it wasn't like normal poison that ticked down your hp super fast. do you have any other status conditions in the game that inflict damage?

no particular comment on the chest double check (i don't think it's extreme enough to remove, but i wouldn't mind its absence)

Balikari is one of the fastest characters in the game, which is super useful in a game with a real-time system. Paired with a buffer, Balikari can not only deal some good damage, but can heal the team too.

There's a few DOT moves in the game, several of which aren't poison-based.
