Do not Obey in Advance is a game set in our world, right now. The players lead a resistance cell struggling against an authoritarian regime that has taken over their country. Are they able to unite the local groups and face off against the regime in the City?  Can they maintain their motivation despite the sacrifices they must make? If they can, perhaps their local success can inspire the entire nation. This is as much a game about building bridges, as it is one about punching bullies in the face.  You can topple the regime if you can motivate the people to act together.   

Just remember - resistance is never futile, as long as you don’t obey in advance!   

Hey all! I’ve been working on Forged With Friends, a free collaborative web tool for Blades in the Dark and other Forged in the Dark games, and I’ve just opened it up for beta.

The idea is pretty simple: create a room, share the link with your group, and everyone gets the same live-updating space — no accounts or downloads required.

Right now you can track clocks, crew information, notes, cohorts, contacts, factions, upgrades, and claims, with changes syncing live between everyone in the room.

It’s still early, and I’m actively figuring out where to take it next, so feedback from people actually playing or designing FitD games would be especially useful.
