There was no methodical method to how I determined the costs, I just went with what felt right, and adjusted as a ritual felt to powerful or too weak, keeping the total costs around a rough baseline.
Forged in the dark games are never played the same, every group is very different from every other, so I don't think there can every be a perfectly balanced ritual or anything really. So I tried not to stress over it too much and just went with my gut.
Hi Wolfgrin, I'm not wholly familiar with the concept, so you gave me something to research! At the moment I am unsure about how to properly set up community copies, as this is my first time publishing on itch and also just in general, but I would encourage anyone who, for whatever reason, can't afford a copy but would still like one, to message me and I can see about getting them a copy on the house!
