Found this game randomly, and I liked the concept. Taking the simple social game that we all know from childhood but twisting it with alien life forms that have their own distinct ways of saying the numbers was fun to follow. Except the ChatGPT ones, man, I could not stand listening to them XD. Maybe if they'd say something interesting or dark that would progress the story forward, or give you interesting clues like interactive objects outside of the main gameplay loop. That could've been cool, but I know they're supposed to be annoying, I just didn't find them fun. Other than that, I was enjoying the scenery and the aliens and it would've been cool to explore the environment if this was a feature to keep the game more engaging and mysterious. Well done!

Thanks for the in-depth feedback! The clankers are a bit divisive. The whole idea was to make this parody where the whole point of them is to be so infuriating that you'd rather launch all of them into space. And a lot of people say that's their favourite part. But of course, at face value, they actually ARE annoying so I can see how that can sour the experience from a purely ludic perspective.
If we consider the story as the main character driven insane by the increasingly irritating and weird species, I do think the clankers are an important stepping stone in this downward spiral. But yeah the point is that you should feel the way you did about them, it just doesn't really land for everyone.
We've been thinking about exploring the space early on but we threw out the idea because we thought it's best to focus on the core so we could get that as good as possible. I think that's generally a good choice in a game jam. No unneccessary filler, just focus on counting down one number after the other, exac- uh sorry, I'm snapping out of it. Thanks a lot again! I'm really glad you liked the environment we built. It was a bit of an experiment with drawing all the lighting into the textures by hand so I'm glad it's working for people!
