I have a suggestion. Is there a way that it might just be able to detect if, say, NVDA is running at startup? Sapi is useful for those who on't have screen readers, but with stuff like prism surely just using a screen reader would be better, especially if a lot of blind people are playing this game.

try this:

launch the game once, then open the settings.json file that showes up, then go to this line:

"tts_voice_engine, 0 is system tts and 1 is NVDA"

if the value is 0, then change it to 1, that will make the game use NVDA
