Really fun concept. Felt very polished. Loved the cat and the little "Yays" when you cut the floofs.

But, I definitely did start noticing my energy flagging after playing for a little bit. It felt like the initial 'shock and awe' of the concept had worn out and the actual work of playing the game wasn't as exciting as I wanted it to be. But that might just be me.

Thank you for both the compliment and feedback and thanks for playing!

I appreciate the critical feedback--do you have any ideas of what you might expect that would keep it exciting for you?  We're thinking about potentially improving or expanding on the concept as a follow-on to the jam, definitely feel that the latter half of the game loop needs improvement--so we would love any thoughts!

Sorry for the delayed response.

I've been thinking about this a lot, and I don't really have a good answer. I think part of what interested me in the idea was that I was almost expecting a puzzle game similar to 2048, but the physics of splitting was hard to control, so trying to bounce things or merge them back together always felt a bit tedious. I think that was the main drain for me.
