firstly, thank you for your comment! feedback really helps me.

Secondly, regarding the sword (like the hourglass, the cards with the green arrow are upgrades), the sword is a damage upgrade. It must remain in your hand to deal more damage when attacking. I forgot to explain this in the rules; I'll update them.

and thirdly, regarding thegameplay issues (the white glow when selecting an enemy part, the numerical costs and interfaces, and the general lack of polish in the gameplay), I couldn't do it the way I wanted due to time constraints. However, I would like to offer the experience I originally planned, much more polished, so the game will likely be updated once the game jam is over. I hope you'll check back for updates!

yeah, the sand clock has to stay in your hand to apply the effect. and also, you can beat the game if you kill the wizard, the problem is that when you defeat him, the "you won" message doesn't appear and nothing happens. I'm sorry about that, I didn't have time to fix it.

I WON :)

Also, the first time you run the EXE Windows says it may have virus, and you have to manually declare you consent to open the exe. You could try to do an HTML version, so there are no problems.
