Thanks for the feedback :)
We will be improving the gameplay so its faster and easier to switch from one minigame to the next one.
Fun game, I enjoyed it a lot, loved the art style too. I was already thinking of commenting that the last round was the easiest, then I discovered it wasnt XD
Anyway, in my opinion the first round could be a little bit easier, so its more likely that the player will discover the second and third enemies and also could be nice to put in the paper of the wall like ROUND 1, ROUND 2 or ROUND 3 so you understand better that it shows the competitors and that there is more than one.
Its a shame its incomplete, but the game looks promising. I love the art and I find it very interesting, kind of a clicker roguelite. A bug that happened me is that after the first shop more than a half of the boxes of the next walls dissapeared, and that blocked me because in one area every box dissapeared and i couldnt get to next area but nothing to click too.
Congrats for the game, i hope you keep polishing it when the jam ends.
The art is great, but the gameplay is frustrating.
I mean, its a good gameplay, you can feel the speed, you will probably die, but as the game is so fast you learn from your failures. The problem is that dash/slide, maybe im just bad, but that felt imposible and after like 30 trials I stopped. The wall jumps are quite tigh so more times than expected you dont reach the floor and you have to stop, jump to the wall again and then continue, and that kind of stop the speed of the game, doesnt feel great at all.
In my personal opinion then, i would make the platform easier to reach with the wall jump (at least at the first levels so you can enjoy the movement and speed) and then when you progress in the game they can be more skilled, but at the start better to feel good. And the dash/slide has two options: you can make it easier (move the platform closer or lower) and when you progress you make it more skilled. Or you can put it super early in the level like the first or second action the player has to do, so the player can practice it more easily (when he dies in a few seconds he can retry) and learn to overcome it faster, because know to practice it one time you must firstly reach that area, which is not easy and you can easily die on the way.
But its a cool game, it just needs little adjustments in the difficulty to make it more enjoyable and fun to play.
This game is so awesome. Its art syle is so pretty and beautiful. Its gameplay is fun, feels great and its hard sometimes, but as the game its plenty of checkpoints the game still feeels casual and almost everyone can complete it. I really hope this gets into the top 50 games.
Also, very grateful to be able to play this game in Spanish. Congrats for you game!
Really fun to play and i love the art style.
It sometimes works weird when showing the info of the objects (you are in certain object but still shows other objects info).
And what really annoys me is that if you click move option in a character and the move button of the HUD had floor below it immediatly uses that tile as the one to move, you have to remeber to zoom out everytime you want to move so you dont missclick. Hope you solve that when jam ends.
The art and sound is great, its just a shame that i cant play it. Have you tried the build? It works for you? I dont know what may be the problem but it should work the same in every computer. Also the first client said something like take my objects, and when you talk to him he says something like im waiting but no objects appeared nowhere.
The game seems great, but there are things to improve.
The gameplay feels a little slow (maybe reducing the length of the conveyor belt and increasing a bit the box speed), the minigames give no info to the player of what they have to do (just specify the controls the first time you enter a minigame or something like that) and some other little things.
Loved the detail of the reviews and the info about your company, but, apart from a slow gameplay, there is a bug in the last minigame where sometimes, when the time goes out it says -1 in the timer and stays in that screen of the minigame forcing you to restart the game.
Great game, loved the art, music and the secret ending.
My only advice is that it would be nice to have some sort of slider or number or something that shows the progress in the game. I played 4 runs, and lost them all and i thought of rating and moving to another game (because there are a lot of games to try) but I gave it one more try and I found last round I lost like 1 or 2 minigames before the end . If I had known that i would have played again without doubt. But I almost stop, so i wouldnt found the ending and then played again for the secret ending.
Also, in the paint one sometimes you click the pencil but still lose one life.
The best game. Amazing art style, fun gameplay, maybe a guided tutorial of 3 rounds so people understand better how to play (now there is too much text). For example, I thought my game wasnt working when the shop didnt appear until 3 games I didnt understood you have to destroy every square to finsih the round.
The game is so cool. Its a shame that in first level I couldnt move the camera (well sometimes moved randomly a little) and then in second and third level I could, but worked weird. There is some polishing to be done in the programming aspect, so it works and feels better but nice game. For example, the collider in the spikes is should be smaller because now you touch one pixel of that red and black square and you die. The art style is just perfect I love it and, just curious, which program did you used for making voxel art?
I love this game, my only suggestion is a longer and more detailed tutorial. The game itselsf is not difficult or complex in its mechanics, but as its so different from what we usually expect in first person games, its hard to understand until you play like 3 minutes. So a bigger and more guided tutorial could help the player understand what is happening since the start of the game.
Also, every time i get to the level selection menu and click level 3 and the click back the HTML game crashes. It doesnt happen with other levels.
Cool game, just feeling that first rounds should last long enough for reading the passives of the items you have and getting used to the mechanics. It seems it has a lot of complexity and you could play for a long run but the start is so fast its hard for a normal player to reach that complexity and fully enjoy the game. I hope this project is expanded and improved because it has potential. And the timer should be one of the most visible things, as more people has already pointed out.
I really like the UI, and well all the art of the game. The gameplay is great, only thing i would say is that, although being too close to the enemy is kind of fun as they behave as ragdolls, maybe increasing the distance between the boxers would make the player understand and see better what is happening.
