Awesome game !

Firstly, the artstyle is amazing, great job :) Only visual thing i would suggest its that the selected part reamins white, so you can clearly see what you selected. And now, about gameplay, i think as we know the number of life we have, we could know every number (the cost of life of every card, life recieved whith clock, damage done with fireball, and damage increased by sword). I think sword doesnt work (i always do 30 damage), probably thats why it was so hard to reach wizard, and imposible to beat. For the cards you can add more visual info (the one i previously said) in the gameplay, or a simple sprite explaining the 4 of them as a tutorial before starting a run and you can always watch it with some key as Tab to remeber it. You should also explain better the turns system, i firstly thought you could use cards or attck in each turn but not both, just say in each turn you can use up to 2 cards and to finish the turn jhust attack. In conclussion, solve the sword card that seems not working and give more info to the player so its more user-friendly, cause the gameplay, as it is know, its awesome. This game has a lot of potential, i will absolutely return here to see if you polished it and replay it.

Also, you can try my game if you want, it just takes 5 minutes ;)

firstly, thank you for your comment! feedback really helps me.

Secondly, regarding the sword (like the hourglass, the cards with the green arrow are upgrades), the sword is a damage upgrade. It must remain in your hand to deal more damage when attacking. I forgot to explain this in the rules; I'll update them.

and thirdly, regarding thegameplay issues (the white glow when selecting an enemy part, the numerical costs and interfaces, and the general lack of polish in the gameplay), I couldn't do it the way I wanted due to time constraints. However, I would like to offer the experience I originally planned, much more polished, so the game will likely be updated once the game jam is over. I hope you'll check back for updates!

Oh, you can still update the description of the game page to describe better the sword card. Im going to replay it rigth now that i know it to kill that wizard :)

Wait, the sand clock that is and upgrade als ohas to stay in hand?

yeah, the sand clock has to stay in your hand to apply the effect. and also, you can beat the game if you kill the wizard, the problem is that when you defeat him, the "you won" message doesn't appear and nothing happens. I'm sorry about that, I didn't have time to fix it.

I WON :)

Also, the first time you run the EXE Windows says it may have virus, and you have to manually declare you consent to open the exe. You could try to do an HTML version, so there are no problems.
