All the artwork and sprites were really lovely! It was nice to see you put a narrative over the theme too, something often overlooked.

I gave it a couple of attempts, but personally the resetting after 100 steps somewhat put me off what is a cool idea. maybe had I been given some extra steps to look around or a reason I reset with my previous knowledge narratively I'd have felt more incentivised  to keep poking about.

Really like the classic murder mystery vibes though, mixed with the typical clue "X was killed with the Y in the Z" Nice work, I can see a lot of effort went into this!

Tysm! We noticed that too, steps felt just like a limit, since you really don't understand what you've exactly accomplished each run. The game is mostly about planning your next route, and only after seeing friends play it we noticed the need of somewhere to check your clues and plan your next run. There was a narrative reason, but the time was really crunching us and we only noticed afterwards that in fact: it wasn't in the game.

Ahaha, it's easily done to miss things like that under time pressure. I slid a kill box into a place it shouldn't be in our one and we nearly pushed with it somewhere gamebreaking >.>
