I enjoyed this one. Although there are some bugs, I liked the idea of the game a lot. I thought the magic system was super complex though. I hadn't gotten to see a lot of the spells, but there were some fun ones with synergies that I got. I found the item spawning was a little bugged or just interesting since there were artifacts everywhere but I didn't know what to do with them. I think that the tutorial spells weren't unlocked on the player yet because I didn't have any spells during the tutorial and couldn't cast them. But when I found some in the wild it was very fun to use them. I also enjoyed the writing and cracked up at the subsidiary line. Overall solid with both art and even with it's bugs, they added charm to the experience!

Yay, I'm glad you liked it!
Yeah these nine days were basically my first time learning to properly use Godot so there were definitely a few issues with the spawning and pathfinding (also my Y-sorting implementation was a bit wacky and I probably should have just figured out how Godot's worked lol), but I'm glad you found the problems charming! :)
The intention was that the tutorial runes would just let you practice the input system, but I definitely agree having them *do* something would have been smart; it's just the more basic spells have simpler casting patterns so that could've been an issue
I'm happy you liked the art and the writing! Those were really fun to throw together
