This is a fun little fishing game!

The gameplay itself felt a little tricky when starting out (the window for catching the fish feels a little small although that could be a skill issue on my part), but I really love all the art and little animations!

(also the ship image file might be a little large; the web copy doesn't render it)

Awesome! This fits the theme perfectly I think

There were definitely a few bugs here and there but I think the systems that are in work really well! And the puzzles that are in the game I think fit very well with the theme
(I also really loved the little player character it's very cute)

The tutorial patterns were intended to be more input practice than actually do anything, but I do think it would probably be a good idea to have had them do something, I should have clarified that better in-game :\

Thanks for the input!

Yay, I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah these nine days were basically my first time learning to properly use Godot so there were definitely a few issues with the spawning and pathfinding (also my Y-sorting implementation was a bit wacky and I probably should have just figured out how Godot's worked lol), but I'm glad you found the problems charming! :)

The intention was that the tutorial runes would just let you practice the input system, but I definitely agree having them *do* something would have been smart; it's just the more basic spells have simpler casting patterns so that could've been an issue

I'm happy you liked the art and the writing! Those were really fun to throw together
