It works. My confuse was how does the plugin know which actor to apply the face change to. I had to choose the face file of the intended character and face index is a different face within the face file. I was confused my bad. I just need to make separate fimg/face files for each character to avoid overlapping characters who share a face file. (Or at least I think my summary explains it.)

Thanks for the help.

I have one last question. If the player has multiple ailments/states inflicted on them, is there a way to make it cycle through face images or is it just stuck to the initial or primary ailment/state face image.

Fine! I was just asking in any case I wrote that down somehow. But glad you manage to make it work and understand!

For the question, yes, for now it only shows a single face state, according to the order it was applied to the actor. But, making it cycle, would be a nice feature! I will add that and let you know!

Okay, thanks for the help. I'll be sure to buy it a 2nd time then.
