Well, at this point, animating the scenes would escalate this game to another level and would sell really well, more than it already will, so if I would point out something this game needs badly, it's animations, you can even come with an excuse lore wise, changing the idea of pictures to videos, so MC would start recording his encounters with Anna and other girls

Even with the use of AI, it takes 1-2 hours to animate and edit a CG to a standard which is good enough. Times that by all the CGs in the game and it should be pretty evident why it not going to happen.
Though I will say, I see no excuses for a couple here and there in 2.0. Especially with the Anna teasing a video function for a couple of releases now when taking pool photos. So it was obviously in the back of Kal's mind at some point.
I will agree though static images are always going to be a turn off for a larger audience. You can see this in the comments and reviews of most Steam NSFW games.
But already stated animations will remain exclusive to mini games, so no looking likely.
Not even sure we are still going to get Anna's Club Dance mini game anymore 😭

Can Kal at least rewrite this dialogue. It does very much hint at animations coming for CGs:
