This was a fun, easy-to-play game! Movement and shooting felt nice, the visuals were distinct and memorable (reminds me of Geometry Wars), and I quite liked the rotating map. I didn't realize at first that standing on a rotating piece rotated you as well; visually it looks like all of the other pieces are rotating the opposite direction, so I thought my being on a piece just cancelled the rotation lol. I think it could maybe read better if the camera lagged just sliiightly behind the player as they rotated. I also kept losing a ton of health at once by getting stuck in a swarm of enemies; I wish I could more easily jump through/away from them during my invincibility frames. But overall, very solid jam game!

I’m so glad you enjoyed and liked my spin on the theme! Yeah, I agree that the player knockback is a bit janky and there isn’t enough indication about what is actually happening when the player is in a slot when it rotates. The player movement script made the former hard to implement though if I had more time to work on the game, I would’ve sorted it out as well as a bunch of other QOL things (including the latter).
