A very fun (and evil) concept turned into a very fun (and evil) game. There's nothing not to love!

Hope you enjoy!

Really fun game, I love the visuals and audio. Kinda reminds me of PopularMMO's old lucky block arena videos.

This is a fun, but hard game. The movement felt smooth, though I wish the cannons would fire on fixed intervals instead of randomly so I could time my cannon jumps reliably. I couldn't make it past the first level, though I had a good time trying.

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for playing and I'm glad you enjoued!

I’m so glad you enjoyed and liked my spin on the theme! Yeah, I agree that the player knockback is a bit janky and there isn’t enough indication about what is actually happening when the player is in a slot when it rotates. The player movement script made the former hard to implement though if I had more time to work on the game, I would’ve sorted it out as well as a bunch of other QOL things (including the latter).

Great game, over all. It is kinda broken though because I can buy turbines even if I don't have enough money.

This was an amazing, well polished experience. The visuals and the audio were amazing and played into the game's theme perfectly. Gameplay is a bit hard to learn, but is well designed and fun.

Here's my game. I hope you enjoy!

I gtg now so I won't have time to watch, but it would be nice if u play anyways.

That was a cute game! I love the concept and style, though I feel like the implementation could've used some improvement. I didn't like how you need to use mushrooms to reach the portal but landing on one is rng.

Amazing! Here's my game: https://just-awsome.itch.io/slot-hack

I am a fan of this.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed!

The game technically has a 2D world within a 3D world, so I'd say it's a combination of the two (the game has 2 worlds in Godot - one is 3D and the other is 2D). There is a lot of SubViewport magic happening in this game to make the main mechanic work. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and found it interesting!

Game was super polished and super well-made (I'm really impressed this was made in 7 days). Great job!

This is a great game, but it is very hard. I gave it a few tries and I can't get past round 4.

A very clever spin on the theme. The one-liners really added to the fun. It took me a bit to figure out how the game works, but once I figured out the basics, I had a great time playing this!

Here’s my game. This one’s easy to learn and has only one level but has a lot of mechanical depth. Enjoy!

A light, fun, creative take on the jam's theme. Although I was a bit upset at the lack of audio, I thoroughly enjoyed this game!

What a unique, hilarious take on the spin to win theme (I laughed out loud playing this). 10 / 10 would play again.

Seems like an interesting idea, but it wasn't explained very well.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I feel like I underdid the How to Play section (an improvement from my last game jam submission, but I'm still not there yet) as this game has a lot of mechanical depth that it fails to explain. This includes:

- You can stand in a slot when it spins to move in its direction

- The color of a slot's countdown (red or green) determines the direction in which it will spin

- Gems heal you 30 health in addition to the 30 points they give

- The type of enemy that spawns is determined by color of the slot side is spawns on

- Different enemy types have different stats

as well as a bunch of other minor details.

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for playing my game and I'm glad you enjoyed!

In my initial idea for this game, you'd only score by collecting the gems, but I found that scoring was too hard and random if that was the only way to score, so I made killing enemies give points to spice up the game and make it more interesting.

By the way, you should try standing in a slot when it spins - it will spin all other slots relative to its spin direction, which is useful for navigating the map.

TBH, I should’ve probably made the controls and objective more obvious. For future reference, they’re on the game’s itch.io page.
