Been keeping my eye on this one since I saw the in-progress pics in the Discord. Extremely cute game that's deceptively hard. I love the aesthetic, the vibes and the general gameplay. The lasers' framerate bug on the web version actually wasn't that bad on my end, I managed to get by without having to refresh. The only other things I have to say that are at all interesting are a few nitpicks about some of the difficulty feeling cheap, but these are minor in the grand scheme of things:
- Dying doesn't reset the beat at all, so you have a variable amount of time to move to the current beat. I ended up just waiting for the next one after dying because otherwise I'd die, move, get caught off guard by the fast switch, and immediately die again.
- How to beat the final boss was not immediately clear, took me a while to even be able to reach one of the pylons to notice that it was interactable.
- On that note, being able to die after the final boss is absolutely cruel :(
- The death noise is one of the funniest things I've witnessed all jam
