Ah! That happens sometimes, you just gotta click on the game and the audio will come back. It has something to do with the GX Exports lol
Thank you for playing!!!
Yeah... I was looking into that during bug fixing, it was originally much worse but I'm not sure what caused it. For right now the only real way to get it "not" laggy is to refresh and load the save. (which is still functional in the web version)Sorry about that, I really did try to fix it :( It does not occur in the Download version
Really cool idea! I think if you had more time you could 100% develop the idea, the core way the theme was incorporated into the gameplay was great, albiet a bit buggy.
The main downsides are the lack of audio, graphics being a bit small/non descript, and lack of telegraphs for damaging/being damaged.
Still good work on the game!
I actually love the Brackey's tutorial aesthetic! It's a simple idea but there's enough complexity to do a few things. The models are nice, but I do think the spikes on the spike fences could be a different color so that it's more apparent that if you run into them you'll be having serious block-based health issues. Good overall though!
Cute little game! Loved the graphics and music, but my main two critiques are:
1: The theming wasn't quite there.
2: It felt very RNG heavy deciding on what to fix, even with the Scanner. I'm not sure if you could visually see things that needed to be fixed on the sprites, but... it felt off.
Good game regardless! Great job on it!
This is a really creative idea! I did have a few issues with the controls, I feel like it would have been a good idea so that instead of the player having to spin around the center of the screen to move their head, they could hold click and wherever they clicked would be the new center to spin around. Still really fun, the biggest downside is lack of Audio, but I do appreciate a Explosion.mp3 inclusion lol.
Yeah, it's like you're controlling a... uhhh.. what would the equivalent of being intoxicated be for Milk? Milktoxicated? Milktoxicated person. Yeah that works!
Jokes aside yeah I struggled with it a bit too, and I had to tone done some areas because it was too much even for me. Still difficult, and that's part of the fun lol. Thank you very much for playing!!!!!
Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed the music! I was really worrying that I didnt get it right <x).
For the depth issues, I had some problems with it while testing the game as well, so I tried to make it so the platformers were a darker shade than the regular tileset. In Hindsight I probably should have added more of a outline to make it standout more, which wouldve also helped a bit with depth. Thank you for the feedback! ^-^
Ah, sorry for the collision issues! If I'm correct that's caused by the player character still moving in the last direction slightly before the collision is checked, so you wind up slightly in the wall/object. If the green character you're speaking about is the slime in the second room, can I ask what jump you're getting stuck on? Thank you for the feedback!
Excellent work! The game does a great job with story and aesthetics. While there aren't a large amount of puzzles, they are fun, yet simple. The artwork is amazing, and the game itself is very polished! It oozed with charm and personality. I do wish there was one more small puzzle, but regardless the game was great!
Thank you!
I did make the music, but it's a bit rushed since it was the last thing I added, but I'm glad it fits! ^-^
For the Doors I tried to make them look like hidden passage ways, but In hindsight they do look like they're just part of the normal walls.
For the V I did consider having a textbox appear from a plaque, but I wound up getting stuck working on other things like the collision and button/door stuff and wound up forgetting to implement it xD.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game aside from those issues! ^-^
Thank you again for the feedback and suggestions!
