I think this is a very polished platformer: It has game juice with the squash and stretch, the character design is really cute and the controls are very nice and lenient. Yet, I am afraid I don't see how it fits with the theme of the Jam.
In overall, this is a fine game with a sound gameplay loop, and while I think it lacks the spin to win idea, y'all still made a great job here.

so to progress in later lvs u need to find the last fruit which is placed somewhere else and needs the player to find the last one which is encourages the player to go out of order and find their own way also the theme is used in a way that the player has to find the final fruit by circling around the lv (i know its not that deep but ig i took not being 'serious' literally ;0 )
