This game was pretty cool. The music was nice, the sound effects could have used a bit of work, it would have been great to have a sound effect for hitting enemies. I like the 2.5d artstyle, though the camera was definitely a bit funky at times. The choice so add a stamina bar for attacks was strange. It didn't really add anything to the gameplay and just stopped me from attacking sometimes. I often got hit when hitting enemies due to the attack having zero knockback and locking me in place. The spin mechanic was fun to play with, I found that it keeps my vertical velocity when I use it so I could use it to jump higher. After beating the game the first time I went through and played it again with just the spin, using the height from it to reach the boss without the double jump. The roll was fun to use, especially in combination with the upwards movement from the spin. I didn't really find myself using the double jump all that much because I was using the spin upwards movement instead. I liked how the boss's attacks were telegraphed clearly, it was fun to fight once I learned to read it. I wish there was more of an incentive to fight enemies, as I just avoided them instead of fighting them. Some way to heal other than dying would be nice too. Overall, great work with this game, I had a lot of fun playing!
