Play by play of froggert! I will just write thoughts as I play.

  • Godot. based.
  • Main menu gives animal well vibes. Love it.
  • You can use custom minimum size of the back panels of buttons so the text doesn't get wonky! (For main menu still)
  • Why does your first game have a settings menu when most bigger games blast my ears?! +2 to audio stars for this.
  • It even seems balanced will in terms of aduip
  • AW THAT INTRO CUTSCENE IS SO GOOD! IS "THE" are Spongebob reference?
  • Ok I go find pink frog. I will! There will be nothing to stop me >:(
  • HOLY VISUALS?! WHAT THE HECK?!
  • Ok I cannot bounce off the juniper birds.
  • Ok you slide on diagonal walls
  • Wtf? HOW DO I GET HIGHER FROM HERE (small ledge with 2 birds)
  • FUCK DROPPED ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM
  • Ok this is frog getting over it. Made it to the little flies but then fell ALL the way down bc I didn't get it.
  • Ok fell another 5 times after reaching the flies. This game is too hard for me :(. Sorry pink frog. Another day.

Loved this! Good game. Very rage game. Good aesthetics. Neat sounds. Love the synth. Full marks! Even the helicopter spin to win was good.

thank you so much!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your play by play. Yes that is a SpongeBob reference haha. 

I've gotten some feedback about the difficulty and if I had a chance, I would make the beginning level empty of enemies and probably put a fly there to help introduce the player to the mechanic early, rather than throw it at them in a tense situation.

Something like that could be good! Or maybe just some more checkpoints or flat bits. Having to redo the entire level is what made me drop it in the end. Like- if this was a normal game and I bought it, I would accept it. But because it's a Jam game I kind of want to be able to make it through? Does that make sense?

absolutely haha  by the time I was playtesting I realized I needed more failsafes and less punishing areas but I was out of time to fix it and still do everything else
