Thank you! Yeah all of those are really good points! We just ran out of time towards the end of the week with all the things we tried to get in.
Like the OST is over half an hour already hahaha.

I did love your game as well, though! But I think you seen my review.

Play by play!

  • Had the main menu open as I was feeding my fish and the main menu music is a GROOVE. Love it.
  • The "Attach" sound is louder than the rest. Very fun and JUICY though.
  • Love that you teach the player "hey you can ride spikes" in level 2 that way. Good shit.
  • HA! I saw 2 gears and was about to attach the gear to the wrong place, but my puzzle gamer brain saved me. I knew you would be good enough to make the puzzle do something new.
  • Beat level 4 by accident.
  • Not sure if I beat level 5 in the intended way. I ended up not using one of the elevators at all!
  • Level 6 kinda same!
  • Making us do the diagonal jump multiple times is diabolical.
  • Level 8 had me stumped for two seconds! Good one
  • Level 9 was fun! Mostly platforming for that one.

That's as far as I have gotten before dinner was ready. This game gets full marks for me and I will come back to finish this somewhere this week! I will pop this in the hidden gems section of the team ass server.

Something like that could be good! Or maybe just some more checkpoints or flat bits. Having to redo the entire level is what made me drop it in the end. Like- if this was a normal game and I bought it, I would accept it. But because it's a Jam game I kind of want to be able to make it through? Does that make sense?

Play by play:

  • - Scuffed spider game sets the expectations very high with its name.
  • Died in 2 seconds. Good shit
  • Ok I am shit at this. The woosh and aaaa are in my brain (good sfx and movement feels fair even though it is scuffed)
  • This mechanic is never used again. BASED.
  • Happy birthday to anyone who sees this (only based people will get this reference)

Love it. This is as based as Honse 3 (play Honse 3)

thank you! Just let me know when you go live, and I will pop in if I am available!

It is all good! I no longer play with headphones this jam haha. I learned my lesson.

Genuinely a very charming game though!

Please do! I don't think anyone has made it to floor 5 yet and that saddens me because it's the best floor (no bias)

WARNING: DO NOT PRESS THE OPTIONS BUTTON ON THIS GAME. IT WILL HURT YOUR EARS.

Play by play!

  • Clicked because visual novel rogue like
  • Stayed because good art on thumbnails and good page
  • Godot based.
  • Please do not earrape people with the option button. It unironically hurt me.
  • Fun little story. Good charm.
  • A little click delay would be nice between text boxes! I sometimes double click and miss text
  • The pixel art is cute!
  • I just pressed spin to win a bunch of times. Would be nice if I knew what I pressed after doing so
  • SPIN TO WIN
  • I helped the old lady before. NOT HELPING HER AGAIN. SHE WAS MEAN. KARMA IS A BIT-
  • Showed her a little spin! YOOOO THE GIRL LIKED MY SPIN. BASED GIRL.
  • FIDGET SPINNER MATCHES MY PLAYSTYLE. SPIN. TO WIN.
  • Got ending 3! That was cute! Might go find other endings at some point.

Overall good, cute, and fun. The only gripe I have is the options menu thing, haha.

The AESTHETIC OF THE BOOT UP SCREEN IS LOWKEY FUCKING MMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Okay play by play:

  • Not using headphones, sorry <3 My ears have been betrayed too many times by this jam.
  • The button juice is so good. Love the static.
  • This sounds like the plot to a great cosmic horror game. I love it.
  • O this IS a cosmic horror game! SICK.
  • Ok I had so much fun frantically operating the radio! Played through it twice and found so much more on the second go round. I feel like there are like a few hundred things I still missed and it makes me want to keep exploring
  • I cannot get over the aesthetic. I am gushing.
  • Putting this in the TEAM ASS hidden gem channel because more people should play this.
  • The only feedback is that I wish there was more of this game.

GREAT STUFF!

I too want to say that Hampter.

Play by play!

  • The visuals and sound immediately are banger. Love the circus vibe.
  • How to play is clear! And I can read it easy! Good stuff.
  • Acceptable speed gives RCT1! Love that
  • THEY EXPLODE?S! WHAT?!
  • Ok goal is 500 bucks. Got it.
  • LEGAL RISK THAT IS VERY SERIOUS!
  • Ok now actual gameplay (that was just from the how to. I already had so much fun with that. Very charming)
  • Ok so good so far
  • Ok skill issue! I died a few times because I couldn't figure out how fast they wanted to go. Ended up getting two of the endings, so good to call it here.
  • Adding this to the hidden gems list in our Team ASS server (Where the rest of the 50 contributors to our game are looking for good games to play)

Fun game Will recommend as above.!

Yeah! I feel this! Like I said in other comments. I believe that the weakest part of this game is the combination of  going from main movement to the minigames and making that smooth and meaningful. This is good feedback for a next jam we might do, where we could scope down a bit and focus more on one or two mechanics instead of having so many minigames.

HAMPTER!

  • I immediately see that we were not the only one who took Warioware as an inspiration.
  • The visuals are so cute. I love the background, the credits, and the contrast on some of those elements
  • The yellow and black work really well together.
  • Might actually come back to this one later in the week to play some more. I had fun with this.
  • It just feels so good!
  • I just want MORE HAMPTER. NOT ENOUGH HAMPTER.

Great achievement for such little time. I am impressed!

Alrighty! Play by play of this game. The name is good! Purple and blue is a good colour combo

  • I am getting no sound. I think this is a unity thing. I keep getting no sound with unity games. I'll play without it!
  • Ok so ICE SKATING YOOOOOO
  • Ok ok let me build this.
  • Oo I got 11 points first try. Let me do this.
  • Okay made it through both rounds and I love the requirements. I could lowkey see this be fun as a full game.
  • Sound effects are neat. The system of learning about ice skating is fun
  • And this is a serious topic clearly related to spin to win that I have not seen before!

Good stuff!

Play by play!

  • I love the name of the game!
  • The first thing with paper and a chainsaw immediately gets the idea across
  • Minimap is a plus!
  • If you die the game freezes?
  • I unlocked my spinwheel for this and it is super satisfying!
  • Okay I am getting good at this!
  • O there is money?
  • O I am getting attacked from behind without any indication
  • Okay refreshed it for a third time. Played it a third time. I think I'm good! Maybe an animation on the chainsaw and a bit of juice on the zombies would be nice.

Great use of the theme! I loved the spinning the mouse wheel as an idea. Also the paper aesthetic is super neat.

Hey! I don't usually download games, but the thumbnail looked really good and I loved the images inside. I love the build up and the ending and message throughout the game. Making this in Godot cannot have been easy either. I know how 3D godot can be. Bonus points for that.

Loved it.

Play by play of froggert! I will just write thoughts as I play.

  • Godot. based.
  • Main menu gives animal well vibes. Love it.
  • You can use custom minimum size of the back panels of buttons so the text doesn't get wonky! (For main menu still)
  • Why does your first game have a settings menu when most bigger games blast my ears?! +2 to audio stars for this.
  • It even seems balanced will in terms of aduip
  • AW THAT INTRO CUTSCENE IS SO GOOD! IS "THE" are Spongebob reference?
  • Ok I go find pink frog. I will! There will be nothing to stop me >:(
  • HOLY VISUALS?! WHAT THE HECK?!
  • Ok I cannot bounce off the juniper birds.
  • Ok you slide on diagonal walls
  • Wtf? HOW DO I GET HIGHER FROM HERE (small ledge with 2 birds)
  • FUCK DROPPED ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM
  • Ok this is frog getting over it. Made it to the little flies but then fell ALL the way down bc I didn't get it.
  • Ok fell another 5 times after reaching the flies. This game is too hard for me :(. Sorry pink frog. Another day.

Loved this! Good game. Very rage game. Good aesthetics. Neat sounds. Love the synth. Full marks! Even the helicopter spin to win was good.

I usually write play by plays! So lets see how it goes. I love the aesthetic of this first of all. The menu is pretty and the UI juice is neat. The "click" sound is LOUD though. It peaked my speakers.

  • O this game is HARD. Died in 6 seconds. Ok locking in.
  • 11 seconds. Ok this game is VERY hard.
  • Ok so the spinning might be better if you can go two directions because I keep having to choose between taking damage and taking damage because things are on opposing sides.
  • A keyboard shortcut for getting energy and air might be nice because I keep Dying when getting air (18 seconds)
  • 1 minute 3 seconds. Okay I am getting the hang of this. Fun game! Will come back to this. But this is too addicting and I want to play more games today.

This is one of those, "Get gud" kind of games. And I think that dying is a skill issue. I have skill issues.

Absolutely! I love strategy games. I have over a thousand hours in multiple paradox games so I for sure would come back!

Play by play! First impressions are decent! Love the little I want to kill start thing.

  • Submit button somehow is vertical? I called myself timmy because little timmy is going to kill some Sh*t
  • Settings: The sliders start at the bottom but sound is not off. Idk how that managed, but shuffling them around fixes it. Thank you for adding sound settings. That's an immediate +1 star on audio.
  • Juicy transition and UI. Love it.
  • OOoh reminds me of BOI immediately. Ok lets do this. Locking in.
  • THE TRACK IS BANGER. I AM BOPPING.
  • Maybe have auto reload if you don't shoot for a bit. Loved the combat in the first room though. Very smooth.
  • Dash feels a bit long on first instinct but I may get used to it. Maybe it could deal damage if you dah through someone?
  • NICE COMBO
  • Enemy bullets kind of merge with your own in colour. Kind of makes it feel a bit hard to read at time (I am also just bad)
  • YOU CAN PET THE CAT. GAME OF THE YEAR
  • Shame the giant spinny crosses don't do much except spin. I also don't know what they are meant to be. Enemies also seem to bug out around them. Big enemies just ignore them.
  • Ok I died! I want to play more games so I might come back to this. But the first run felt fun. Many ways you could add even more to the game. Like leveling and such? Cool little thing. Not sure how this is spin to win though.

Fun game!

Alright as per every comment. Play by play time. I will take notes as I play.

  • Game says to play tutorial. O- music stopped looping. Ok doesn't matter. THe buttons have juice and look greek. I trust the greek buttons and the tutorial.
  • My dyslexic ass cannot read this font. I will just rawdog the game.
  • I clicked buttons and the thing spun. It seems to do things. I have no idea what is happening but it has good sounds and visuals
  • I placed symbols on the wheel. Idk if this is good. but it's pretty and it feels like gamba soooo good stuff.
  • Ok if I could read the font I feel I would enjoy this more. I just have no idea what is going on from context clues. Still will rate this game as fun, but as a tip: Always have your font be very readable, and if not, have an alternative font!

Good stuff! Just a shame I couldn't figure it out.

(1 edit)

As per usual! Play by play time. First impressions are great and YOU HAVE A VOLUME SLIDER! THIS IS HUGE. (first game I see that has adjustable volume). Immediate bonus stars for just that. Aesthetically it's also good, and the main menu trakc is banger.! Ok let's play. I am hype now.

  • THE TRANSITION FROM THE MAIN MENU IS CHEF'S KISS!
  • Ok I died on my first run because of typing because of the transition but
  • Love the bikini bottom houses. Love the sounds. Love the movement. This is a hidden gem in this Jam. Will post this in the team ass discord (Our team of 50) as hidden gem for everyone to look at,
  • A restart button would be nice because I keep messing up because I am bad and know I need to be better for fast times!
  • Second run! Made it to work with 5 seconds to spare. Will get coffee next time!
  • Good stuff!

Loved this one. Movement lowkey kinda like clowning around so I got the hang of it pretty quickly!

Let me know when you update it! I would love to play it again if it does get the update it deserves <3

Alright as per usuas I will give a play by play of me playing the game. But first impressions: The title name is cool! Though the embed on the page is weird and glitchy. I had to scroll to the side to find the full screen button.

  • Gambled my money. I now have 500 money. I do not know what to do with this money.
  • Clicked door. Nothing happens. Is there a shop?
  • Ah pressing up near the door gets me to the shop and it seems I can go through.
  • I somehow lost even though I still had money?
  • Trying again. Maybe I have to pay rent or something.
  • Starting the game with mega negative money now? -2k? what?
  • I instantly lost again
  • Ok I don't get this game!

BUT. I loved the aesthetic and the idea of an incremental gambler game with ghosts is good! Wish there was any audio. Overall good concept. Good first round. There is just a weird bug for me so that I can't play more even though I wanted to try again.

Thank you for making this!

Really? I thought the thumbnails were so CUTE! I think the artists cooked on them haha!

Nah! This is a good game mate! I just point out the bugs and points of feedback when I leave comments to actually try and help. Rather than going "wow great game" which helps no one.

So you're saying I am just bad at the game haha! Thanks for the confirmation.

Hey hey! I love the concept of spiders for this because well, that was my initial idea too. I will give you a play by play of my playthrough and some highlights!

  • I love the art at the beginning and the story is gripping!
  • The music in that cutscene does not loop (I was opening this tab and I can't get it to play again)
  • LMAO THE SPIDER ROLLS! SO CUTE! (maybe would have been nice if it contracts its legs?
  • THe little HI on the zoom is so cute. This game is so adorable!
  • Seems all sound is gone :( O no.
  • Collision on webs is weird. I seem to be glitching through them
  • O THIS IS SPIDER GETTING OVER IT. I HATE IT (I am having a load of fun)
  • Ragequit after falling on the swinging from demon bat to demon bat for the third time. Might come back to this later this week to see if I can beat it!

Good stuff!

I had a lot of fun with the main mechanic, but it is a bit buggy at times which hampered my experience (still a load of fun mind)!

  • Clicks are unresponsive sometimes.
  • Sound is loud and turning off the SFX and Music in the settings still has the sound audible
  • I had to tab out a few times to look up controls because it was not quite clear in game or from your descriptions!

Aside from that, the changes in newspapers and the little references were cute. My favourite part is definitely the take on the mechanic.

I really enjoyed this! The sound of the spider dying is LOUD. Like OW my ears and I am not even wearing headphones. The aesthetic is nailed. Cool interpretation of the theme, and the music is also banger. Good stuff!

Really cool game! The art direction is probably what stood out to me the most. The environments feel very polished and do a great job of setting the mood. I also liked how the game handled the theme, since it felt creative but still had a more serious side to it.

The main thing I would improve is the combat feedback. When enemies take damage or die, I think the game could make that a bit clearer with stronger sound effects, animations, flashes, or something similar. The screen shake was also a bit much at times.

Other than that, I had a great time with it. With a bit more polish  I think this would feel even better. Nice work!

Hmm! We did want to add key remapping to be honest, but it was just barely out of scope.

I see other people talk about audio, but playing this game I am getting NO audio. Which might explain why I could not beat the first night. BUt I loved the visuals and the little clicking around.

Then I saw "The light" in another comment. This allowed me to beat the first night. Then I could not figure it out anymore. SOME visual clues might have been nice I guess! Rating Audio as 5 stars regardless because it might just be a glitch on my end and I don't want to mess with it. Overall, I had a lot of fun despite getting half the experience.

Played this and this lowkey is like playing  quacks of quackleburg (a boardgame) But in game! I am having a load of fun with the context clues as well!

Everyone should play this one if they get a chance.

Like I said, get some UI juice in there. Get a bunch of playtesters and this is a great little steam or mobile game. Keep me in the loop if you do!

Bored 5 holes. Found 0 gold or clay. Would bore again.

I also never found the shop from the screenshots! So maybe I am just playing the game wrong haha. Little hidden gem here in the "Least rated" section!

Hey hey! This game is currently not possible to be played! Make sure to set it to public.

Forgot to set this one to public!

Hey! Playing through this game I am impressed with how cohesive the puzzles are for such a small timeframe. Many a released steam game would have KILLED to have puzzles this clever.

I like leaving some points of improvement as well for if you want to continue building this. So here are some:

- Sound. The sound peaks at times. A full rebalance of some of the SFX might be needed (or a reupload

- Settings (mostly for the sound)

- The difficulty goes up RAPID. So maybe some interim levels that teach the player how to manipulate the fans better would be good. An example is the one where Gooby drops from the ceiling alongside a box. It might be better to just put Gooby at the bottom there and just have the "use both boxed" as the primary central idea of the puzzle. In general (I think) every puzzles should have one central idea that it is about!

Good stuff! Let me know if you ever do something else with this.

Thank you! Would love to stay in touch. Following you right back because I'd love to see you mess with Limbswitch some more.

Writing this as I play. You too got full marks because as a solo dev this is an outstanding achievement. I just wanted to write a story of my experience. Good bits, fun bits. Bits that frustrated me. Or even ideas! Hope this is useful

  •  Your page is gorgeous. Good stuff. Good gifs, good colour scheme and it is just cohesive.
  • The sound on boot up is defaulted a bit too loud for me personally. I personally like setting it to default 70%
  • The art style is sick! Love Cloudy.
  • Speaking of sound, I would have loved a settings menu to turn the sound down. I had to use the master on my own device.
  • You have the tutorial cloud, and it would be nice if the tutorial cloud quickly told you the controls also. Just one textbox. I had to tab out of the page (I couldn't exit full screen for some reason) and then it refreshed and cutscene and aahh-- anyway yeah. In game controls could be a thing you add. Movement feels smooth. Animations are good. Bridge sprouts work well
  • Expected to be able to water the dead looking orange flowers (look dead because of the colour) could not.
  • I would have put the first bridge sprout closer to the original patch of grass
  • Cloudy explains the slingshot but not other movement. Seems you did think of it.
  • I AM NOT SLINGSHOTTING THE BIG SMILEY BLOB. EVEN IF THAT IS CLEARLY INTENDED.
  • slingshotted the cloudy blob. Did nothing. I feel bad.
  • Found the grey thing across the way. CLOUDY GOT IN THE WAY. HELP I AM STUCK. WHY DOES THIS STUPID CLOUD HAVE COLLISION
  • Ok it is clear that you have to hit the rock with a slingshot across the way but I cannot hit it for the life of me. Maybe for a next version an aim curve would be neat. Will try for a few more minutes.
  • Still have not hit it because cloudy keeps getting in the way. Backtracking. Maybe I missed something.
  • Ok one more try. Imma just spam the button in an upward motion surely one of these will hit
  • Ok I learned two things. The direction of the slingshot firing is not consistent. You can hold your button to fire stronger? Looks like it.  I cannot pass this RNG check and have been playing for 20 minutes. This is where imma throw in the towel.

TLDR: Had fun! loved the game. Got to the bit where you have to slingshot a rock. Crashed out. Would play again if there was more help for people who are bad at the game like me.
