I like that you used the Paint-like human heads for this :) It's a shame you didn't take this style further, with the interface, the store, etc.

Also, the game lacks a more detailed environment. It would have looked better and added more variety to the gameplay. Effects for hits on both the player and enemies are also needed.

But right now, the main problem is that the power attack is pointless, and the enemies move roughly the same. So, you just end up running around mindlessly. Although setting traps adds variety.

If you're a beginner developer, this is a good job.

If not, then find a team to do more :)

There's potential, but it seems like you lacked the skills to realize it.

In any case, I enjoyed the game, despite my criticism.

Thanks for the criticism, I didn’t even think of using my style in the interface and I will consider it in the future to make it blend in with the environment. I agree with you that my game is lacking with the detailed environment because I was trying to make things functional and moving on instead of making them interesting. This also meant I didn’t care for adding effects when the player and enemy are hit which left my game feeling bland. I feel like I could have fixed the power attack problem by making the weapons work only on certain enemies which would add more depth to the weapons and enemies. I agree that you had to mindlessly run away from the enemies because they all chase you at once and I could have given them an attack range to make my props more useful instead of being destroyed immediately and it would allow you to fight the enemies at your own pace which would make the trap idea more appealing. I’m a beginner with godot and I’m glad you see the potential in me, I hope to remove the flaws that I have in game development as I create more godot games in the future.
