i think it has a strong concept, especially in regards to this game jam. the silly theme definitely gets max serious points! the shooting is fun and i like the sound effects and music. the silly guys look cute too.  i will say i don't think i can rate this fairly considering i can't access the shop right now. but i'll rate it based off what i have.

i like the story at the beginning, but in my opinion a mechanic similar to deltarune would be very strong for this. by that i mean skipping to the end of a text animation (not the end of the whole story) and then confirming if you want to proceed in the dialogue. if not this then just make the text animation faster and give the option to go to the next text with a button.

the gameplay as of now is lacking a bit, i think that's because the shop doesn't work on web right now so i wont say much on this. what i will say though is i feel the gun shoots too fast, the cooldown is too low and an ammo system would do the game good as a mechanic. i kinda like unloading and turning them serious though.

i didn't really find a way to die in the game so i felt no real threat. in this type of game it feels a bit odd without much of a threat.  (i did get teleported to the starting location when i tabbed out though. didnt really lose progress)

the visuals could use work, but they're not bad don't get me wrong. i think that defining the roofs some more could make the game look a lot more pretty, like making very thin bricks at the top of the roof and then bigger ones at the bottom. i like the artstyle though other than that.

would building could be a bit better, it's a city but i think more props could do it well. this is more minor though imo because thats something you should do last (i've heard?). but i'll give you a few things i'd add i guess?  street lights could be good, adding a few car props also, a bench or two in the park areas, maybe a few trees. it would help the world feel more alive

overall, i think this game is alright. but without the shop system and reload system it's just alright, if you do get those added though please let me know!

Wow. Thank you for all of that feedback. I really appreciate it. :)

Sorry to reply again only 20 minutes later, but your feedback is too good to pass up on. I've uploaded a Windows version where the shop actually works. I'd like to know what your feedback on that is if you have the time. Thanks again. :)

i like the shop system, it's nice. i like the upgrades, they're quite fun and intuitive. everything i said previously remains mostly relevant, though i'll also add the gameplay is a lot more fun with the upgrades.

i'll update the dying thing and say that i think it's too hard to die. i don't personally feel any real threat from the blue guys because i can either outrun them or just tank hits from them. i think this could be solved with making them shoot stuff maybe?

i also ran out of people to shoot, i think it would've been a good idea to make more silly guys spawn in.

i found something new that i didn't point out yesterday but i think that the sound effects for hitting an object such as a building and hitting a silly guy should be separate maybe? on this i also think it may be good to make the bullets not load offscreen, it's less satisfying when i shoot one of them offscreen versus onscreen imo.

the progression is good, i think the piercing upgrade is a little useless but the other ones i like.  i think you should get more money from shooting the silly guys, it's kinda hard to get anything from the shop.

the ui for the shop is nice. i do think the shop cards could maybe have been made a little more papery, i dunno. that's more a personal stylistic preference.

Thanks so much for all of that! I really do appreciate it. :)
