Thanks! I really appreciate putting in the time to play the game and drop some feedback! Yeah I definitely took inspiration from Routine for the enemy and level design, thats a great game. Sleep deprived me didn't have time to properly apply the volume setting before the submission was due, so that among other things will be fixed today.

Were you able to beat the chase sequence and reach the end of the game, and/or did you think that the movement was too slow/unresponsive?

Sorry for the late reply, I did not beat the chase sequence, but honestly I was kind of rapid firing games. I'm off work today though, so I may return and see if I can beat it!

Sorry for the super late reply then lol. No worries, I just received some feedback that the chase sequence was too difficult. However no worries if you don't return!

I actually did return! I was able to beat it, I just had to lock in lol but I did get stuck directly after that- I needed a level 2 security card, and I couldn't figure out a way to restart the game. I even redownloaded it and it still put me at the checkpoint right before the chase.

(1 edit)

Oh yeah. That card is wedged in between the boxes next to the door, its sort of hard to see. That checkpoint bug is just how Unreal Engine saves data onto your computer. I know its dumb there is no "reset save option", but if you wanted to reset the save, you'd have to manually delete the save folder in your local files.

That can be done through

  • Win + R
  • "%LOCALAPPDATA%"
  • Locating "SpinToWin" (assuming nobody else's game you've played name their project that)
  • Then deleting the "SaveGames" folder inside "SpinToWin/Saved"
