The text is a bit hard to read. The font size feels a bit small, and a larger game window could help, such as enabling Itch's option for adding a fullscreen button, as long as your game can auto-scale. I used the browser's zoom to make things more readable. In addition to the font size, the messages in game saying what you can do, such as roll the die and "You can Continue Forward" could use with more contrast, such as adding a background panel around the text. It doesn't have to be solid. a semi-transparent background could add just that little bit of extra contrast to help with readability. Pressing space to see the map there is nice contrast with the black background, but the distance scaling makes the small font size even harder to read, and even zoomed in I could only just read the nearest tiles.

The turn swap feels a bit bright compared to the main game and could be problematic for some people, especially if playing in a dark room. It also feels a bit longer than needed as the game progresses. There is no need for a player to look away, so a shorter swap would be fine.

It would be nice if there was something showing when you gain or lose money how much it was. You get a sound and your total changes, but then it quickly shows the turn swap screen. Similarly, when asking to upgrade a panel, it would be nice if it showed how much the opponent would currently be charged. Yes, you can press space to see tile info, but having it in the dialog such as "Pay X to increase visit cost from 30 to 50" would be nice.

The controls are not great. It would be nice if you added support for keyboard movement with arrow keys or WASD, in addition to the on screen buttons. You use space for the board info view, but possibly changing that to another key and allowing space or enter for confirming options.

I played both characters and bought up about half the board. It got a bit repetitive. The controls and turn swap delay just didn't work for me. It does have a bit of the classic game feel, so there is a bit of nostalgia there for some people. The concept is decent, it just needs some work to make it feel more enjoyable.

Wow great feedback, the game was made with two players in mind and the turn transition gives time to share the mouse you the person you are playing with.

I do agree that the font is not the greatest, but I made it myself, that’s why I’m using it. I might try to do another one but I’m my native language is french and covering all the accent without forgetting one is quite the chore

Showing the end calculation when ask to invest is a great suggestion, thanks!

WASD control is also a great idea, but while doable, it would need some refactoring because my core gameplay philosophy for two player is easier to chare a mouse than a keyboard. So I would have to code rail guard everywhere to make it impossible to go off board. I’ll keep this idea in mind! :)

As for enjoyment, You have to understand that first, you played alone and secondly I kept the pacing, cozy I would say, to makes it a nice game to share in a family setting, sort of like why anyone would play monopoly.

Thanks for you constructive feedbacks, I appreciate it!

For a self-made font, especially with all the needed characters for French, it is pretty good. I'd say the issue is more the size than the font itself.

For the controls, I'm not suggesting to allow free movement. I think that you should simply map them to the existing buttons. If you press right, and the button to turn right is on screen, then it is the same as pressing the button. If the button is not visible, then nothing happens. Pressing up is the same as pressing confirm to go forward.

I do acknowledge that I played alone rather than against someone, and that does impact the feel of the game. I did try to view it with that in mind and how I'd feel playing with someone else. I was going to ask my partner to play if I thought we'd enjoy doing so, but it did not draw me enough to do so. I also acknowledge that it is not quite my kind of game, so for the target audience, maybe it is more enjoyable I should have mentioned this in my original feedback so you can better judge my thoughts on that aspect.
