Thanks for playing! Could you expand on why the commands where clunky and what wasn't responsive in the UI? Would love to solve the problems if I can!

Personally I would say its just the unresponsiveness of some actions comes from the animation when assigning turns to  last like over a second where it feels it takes a long time to assign and remove actions. Another part is that you cant skip through the 3 stars menu by clicking. I felt the same way that is was clunky at first even though replaying it most actions were instant so the animation is my best guess as to where that feeling arose. Never had any issues with the UI buttons tho

I see, makes sense. You can actually click as fast as you want without following the animation but I do understand that it's easy to feel like you have to wait.

Basically what the other user said, about the UI sometimes the click registered logically but I didn't get the "pressing" animation of the buttons (they remained still). As I said it's an enjoyable experiencr otherwise, if you'll fix those minor things (even after the jam) it could be a complete fun game!

I see what you mean. I'm guessing it's most buttons that update the scene somehow as they will just instantly open a new level as soon as you press it so there is no real time to see the animation!
