Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback. Could you clarify about how the movement felt not smooth? Yeah it seems people really don’t like the 4 directional aiming lol

Thanks for playing! Yeah i took the 8 way movement and 4 way shooting from the binding of issac but it seems a lot of people dislike it so maybe its a somewhat deprecated system

The game was fun I played all the way through and it took me a bit to realize i was supposed to hold space. also the audio was pretty rough when spinning. I though it was fun and really enjoy the starting and ending cutscenes but the gameplay itself was a little slow and grindy. Still a good time overall!

This was really fun! II think some balancing would make it a lot better because its not really nessessary to spin the station after buying the 3rd slot. Also it would be nice if the repair didnt turn off after fixing 1 of the section because most of the time i would want to fix multiple sections. This a great time

Sorry to see that you werent able to get it fully compiled for the jam I hope you go back and add the build after the jam voting is over! the cover art looks great!

Interesting idea for a game I just wish it was longer and had the controls somewhere!

This was a fun one it was a little hard to figure out at first but after that it was pretty enjoyable!

you there is definitely some balance changes that need to be done. The multidirectional move and 4 direction aiming was from the small snippets I saw of binding of Issac gameplay. Boss fights in future will have attack patterns and enemies won’t have physical collisions with the player (or coins). Thanks for the feedback!

thanks for playing! Yeah as development continues bosses will have attack patterns instead of just walking at the play but I ran out of time to get it done for the end of the jam

This was a really fun game! I wish  it didnt have the lives system tho because it just means if I mess up  I quit the game. I liked that it consistently introduced new mechanics

This was pretty fun I wish there were a slightly easier way to tell when your right click is off cooldown (it seems like it has a delay after throwing)but thats only a small gamefeel issue so totally understandable for a jam!

Thanks for playing! I'm not great at composing music so im glad I was able to make one that wasnt bad lol!

(1 edit)

This was pretty fun although it seems like it was just roulette with no other mechanics? I least i didnt see any. The visuals look quite good though

this fun short game. Kinda looks like the cover image is AI and the music kinda sounded like it too (Hopeful im wrong on that). The game itself was fun tho

Personally I would say its just the unresponsiveness of some actions comes from the animation when assigning turns to  last like over a second where it feels it takes a long time to assign and remove actions. Another part is that you cant skip through the 3 stars menu by clicking. I felt the same way that is was clunky at first even though replaying it most actions were instant so the animation is my best guess as to where that feeling arose. Never had any issues with the UI buttons tho

The  game crashed on the level with the two fish and the monster after I had solved it. I really liked the art!

Thanks glad to hear you  enjoyed it! I'll make sure floors have more rooms and room types as development continues!

The game seems broken (im on windows if that makes any difference). after the first conversation it just becomes a black  screen with a white dot. I hope you can get it fixed!(you can still update your game a day after the submittion period)

This was a good idea for a game but it felt like a lot of the hitboxes were off and my best bet was just spamming shots. also the 1.1x upgrades just felt nonexistent. still fun tho

Ah ok that makes sense you may want to avoid using those AI tools in future just because it really makes the whole image look like AI. Yeah that makes sense usually its better to have a low framerate web build vs not having one. Good job getting your game done tho I enjoyed the  enemy design!

I did the long walk all the way the back of the facility then left the  gear outside the  room and grabbed the spinner which locked all the doors and i think softlocked me. I didnt really want to start over so I just kinda stopped there

This one was ok it was a little weird to control and a more specific control list in the itch page would do wonders because its kinda not very obvious that down arrow turns the world

This was an interesting one it was a little buggy (keyboard and mouse) after a fight and I never lost a fight out  of the 5 I  did. So overall it was fun but a little confusing

Also i think you can edit your itch page still today so I would recommend adding a web version and many  more people will be able to play it because a lot of people are wary about downloading exe files

This is a great game.  I loved the story. My only criticism is that there is maybe a touch too much hitstop and the big boss shouldnt have I-frames after getting hit. Often I would spam him with the supers but in reality its much better to shoot once then wait for his I-frames then shoot again which kinda limited the fun of using those moves. This was a great time tho I liked the variety in projectiles a lot (there wasnt really much spinning. it would have been fun to watch the weapon wheal spin and land on a new weapon)

This was pretty fun!  I feel like there could have been more of a reason to spin because just letting it auto spin works almost as good as trying to control it. It felt kinda vampire survivors where i could just walk around and not worry about aiming

Thanks for the  feedback! Ive never played Issac but I saw NL playing it so I thought itd be fun to try make my own version! Thats a great point yeah im currently between turning off enemy  collision with the player or adding a dash that lets you move through them but Ill test both out  as development continues!

This was an interesting one. Im not positive you used AI making the itch page but hopefully you didnt. The game was kinda hard you follow I think the main reason was the low FOV which made  it so I often didnt see enemies and the volume fall off where I couldnt hear them useless they were kinda on top of me. Overall it was a fun game I wish it had a web build tho since its really easy to do on unity and not having drastically reduce the number of people who will try out the game

This was a fun one. I would say you should really change out the font for the tutorial it is diabolically hard to read. I got about 40 spins at best I couldnt really get beyond that

This was an interesting one. One bit of feedback would be to deincentivize the player from spamming left click since I accidentally skipped one of the option choices.  It woulda been cool to have seen more of your art instead of asset packs even if it was less polished. This was a fun time overall

This one has pretty interesting visuals. Be warned about the volume . I couldnt really read the text so I wasnt really sure how to play and I kinda got stuck

This was an interesting one I do think that allow clicks beyond the max kinda breaks some of the puzzles tho

This was a fun game! I really liked having to move between the tasks and the art style!

This was a really fun game and a great use of the theme. I will say some of the layer levels felt a little tedious instead of challenging but thats totally understandable for a game jam game!

I played it all the way though. I wish you had time to finish it! After the first ascension there wasn't really any upgrades but I assume that was because of the aforementioned running out of time (also please swap out the sound for the other planet outside earth, mars I think, because it can get quite annoying compared too all the other sounds in the game). If you enjoyed making it then that's what really tells you if you should keep working on it!

This was a fun game but I feel like I finished all the content after my second drill. I stopped after getting crystals because it just took too long to get down there even with max speed and the movement ability so there might be more new fun mechanics down there I never found. More time per drill didn't feel like a reward because its just waiting for another 30s before I start going to grab materials. Still a fun game tho!

This was a great time I really liked the music. I wish there was a bit more variants in mechanics or maybe a way to make it harder because I was at max speed on my first run and it wasnt too bad (on keyboard and mouse).Overall it was a fun short 3-5 minute game!

This was a good time! I kinda wish the bringos ended up scaling faster than the numbers because i think it woulda been more satisfying. Like if the upgrades had a higher limit I think they'd surpass it but in the end I was just getting my money from from numbers that were upgraded to give 800,000k per click. Still a fun one tho!
