Pretty neat idea, though the collisions felt a little jank, I do enjoy simple games like this that could become anything.

Maybe you could add a mechanic to let you to speed up the rotation when you hold space or something, it would add a cool speedrun element to it I think.

Could you tell me more about the collisions? They seem to work as expected for me no matter what I try! Although you can get it a bit stuck in the wall if you’re not careful, so perhaps that’s what you mean. It took absolutely ages to get the collisions working as well as they do! Absolutely the worst part about making this game lol

In the original, there are sections where your rotation is sped up or slowed down to make the level harder, and losing lives causes a time penalty, so there’s an inherent speedrun element in trying to complete levels with the fastest time without being too risky.
