This was really neat! I found it a bit difficult to piece together what was happening at first, and then when I realized I was switching creatures I still had some difficulty understanding what it was that each of them could do (reading the description and learning you could manually stop the wheel helped a lot). But once I understood all that I found the concept really compelling. I think I detect some Animal Well influence here :) Platforming felt pretty good, though I would have preferred just a little bit of acceleration and deceleration. I ended up finding all four (I think there are only four? And maybe they somehow relate to the four circles around the door?) "sequences", but didn't know what to do with them, and I found myself pretty stumped when I found the path to the gravestone, so that's as far as I got. I loved the idea though, and I think it could be expanded out into a really interesting game!

thankyou! yeah i can't deny that animal well was a primary influence here, and attempting to make something similar has taught me a lot about the fine line between a satisfyingly crytpic and an unfairly obtuse puzzle. i tried to build the flow of the game in a way that created an expanding circle of connected puzzles, the first being what the creatures can actually do, and the last being how to actually get the door open.

if i can give you a hint for the final solution, isn't there something suspicious about that platform next to the big door. it seems to lead to nowhere? an odd choice indeed.
