Hi again, Fire Frog! I just came back on once again for only a few minutes, but I saw your reply to mine, so I have to respond, but My itch.io seems to have issues right now (slow loading), so I need to try to reply to you as fast as it'll let me.

Well, I don't have a whole lot of experience with TRS, but like with any Game Engine, once I immerse myself into one, I can get somewhat carried-away! (That's why I've posted so much to the Devs about Bugs and TRS Features Requests, which led to Making Collections on My itch.io Profile [I'd left My Profile sitting for so long due to busy with life and working on a few game-related things in my spare time, but then TRS seemed to take-up much more of my time than I'd planned!]).

This is the most in-depth I've ever gotten into a Game Engine! I only ever emailed Devs with theirs (mainly OHRRPGCE and Luanti, and that was only a very few emails). So I've never been so active on an Online Forum at all. Pardon me rambling.

Honestly, because of my fascination with TRS, I've literally already started about 11 TRS Games (all WIPs, but I've been very active the past couple days with two of them) that I've Saved, and yes, I also put-in to Join Tiny RPG Jam #3 a few days ago.

My ideas come from many years of gaming, so yeah, I've amassed quite a few, but I'm always amazed at just how detailed I can get when working on games, which always produces even more ideas. It's crazy!

In short (sorry for the long post!), sure, I'd be open to making a game together, despite time constraints (but I should be able to manage) and of course wanting to release at least one of my two recent WIPs, and then there's the Jam (we must wait until the Theme is revealed on July 1 before making a game for it).

Given all that, did you have a specific kind of TRS Game in mind? I was thinking of game types (not genres [racing, space, pirate, western, horror...]) a few hours ago, like: combat-only, story-driven, rpg (combines both), puzzle..., even one that could have multiple worlds to it (like a series, and you can have just one linear ending instead of an open world [like GTA] that tells you that you must continue your quest in the next game)!

How about you pick something that intrigues you and let me know, then we'll go from there?  :)

Lastly (whew!), should we maybe work on it and release it for the Jam, or let it be a separate project that we could finish after it so that we can each make a game for the Jam beforehand?

Thanks for listening! I'll never be able to keep track of all my itch.io posts if I keep this up! LOL.

Ok then, and I agree, it would be too rushed for a Jam collaboration.

You're welcome, and I hadn't really thought about teaming-up with anyone to even make a game before you suggested it. I guess I said sure because it hadn't even crossed my mind before.

I'm still figuring-out all the options that itch.io has (eg. I just barely made a cover image for my Additions to Siemowit 2 just so it could stand-out more! I tried the Arrange Collections feature under Themes, but it didn't seem to fully take, at least not on My Library page, but it did on my Creator page. Weird).

And a Western sounds like a great choice! We'll go with that then, after the Jam. Thanks for the reply!

You read my mind! I was actually thinking of this after I'd gone offline that same night.

While I DO have a few emails, I hardly remember to check them to be a way to communicate (though I would if I had to).

Never used Discord (BUT My experience with gamers from Luanti [formerly Minetest] servers who used it to come into the Chats via Discord showed me that it can be a TOXIC place, just like DANGEROUS Meta [formerly facebook: not good enough for me to even capitalize the piece of GARBAGE!]), so that's out.

I think itch.io is our best line of communication, but it can get over-run with ideas, so I'll just have to try to keep mine and my replies SHORT while still getting my points across!

When that time comes, one of us can Make a New Topic for our Game on the TRS Forum, that way we're not junking-up Siemowit 2 here with all our posts.  :)

Or, maybe a better idea is to post our ideas in a DevLog for our game? Yeah, that may be best, to spare people from a long process of our project until we're ready to release/publish it. Oh, but then, we'd have to at least Make a Page for it, then the DL, so people are still going to see it!

So we need a better itch.io way to post our ideas back and forth. Do you have any suggestions on what we need to Make on I.I. in order to contact each other without people having to read?

I just Googled it. The main thing it says is that we could Make a Private Draft Page with a Secret URL.

Thanks for your interest, Fire Frog.

Here's the link in order for you to become Project Administrator, so please Accept it, then we'll already have that set-up:

Według mnie powinniśmy rozmawia w komentarzach pod Naszym Projektem. Po premierze gry można usunąć te komentarze.

Czy jeśli jakaś osoba, która zobaczy Twój link i go kliknie zostanie dodana jako administrator projektu. Jeśli tak to możesz już skasować post, bo przyjąłem zaproszenie.
