I like the gameplay loop idea and theme usage, but unfortunately, the game has it's problems. Mainly with the sprites rendering and ordering, physics and readability (lack of graphics consistency). The sounds are fun, but it could use some background music. Would be great to have an in-game tutorial or anything hinting at what the actual game is about and how to properly play it without just trial and error. Anyway, congrats on finishing the jam!

Thanks so much for giving it a go!

Art and sound is our weakest link and we know it! With more time we would definitely plan a more consistent art style. The physics was super hard to get right. It's still not right of course, but I'm fairly happy with where it ended up. When objects are in the pot, the physics are actually simulated off screen in 3D, and then translated back into 2D.

I struggled a lot with the sorting order because there's a lot of masks involved. I found it very difficult to get z-sorting in combination with the various masks. (Each eye has 1, each item in the pot has 1, etc) Again with more time I think I could figure it out.

First jam and, no surprise, time was the trickiest part to manage. A lot of learning and a lot of fun though. Thanks again for playing :)
