My friend has a really good idea for a game (at least I think so lol) and I know nothing about game development! I want to help in making his idea become a reality, but I need some help of being pointed in the right direction of where to start.

Look for tutorials on engines that don't require coding.

Can you share more about the game idea? what genre the game belong? is it 2D or 3D? do you already have engine or you both are starting? If you can answer those last 3 questions it can more easy to help you.
