nice game with good art and gameplay, now let's be fair this game can't run on an actual nes lmao, but i like the vampire survivors inspiration taken here, it would've been a lil better if you can stack a bit more auras so you can feel a bit more stronger yk, especially since the boss feels a lil bit too beefy, maybe if their hp was 50-40 stacks it would've been better, also sometimes when i wanted to only have 1 type of aura, i just get another one by mistake and start back to aura 1 :') so it would prob be better if there was a confirmation button like when your near the aura you can press attack again to equip it, and lastly i think the red aura is prob the weakest of them all, the blue one is prob the best and the lightning one is pretty close too but the red one is pretty weak tbf, i sometimes get "a hug" by the bear monster and if there were any green enemies near by.. it's a game over :') ,the music has some creepy vibes for some reason which isn't bad but it was good nonetheless, other than that you did a good job :)

also if you got some free time maybe you can check out my game and drop some feedback there :)

Thanks for playing! And thanks for the feedback!!

We've designed it to feel like NES in graphics and resolution, not CPU hardware power at all, which we didn't think it was necessary.

The auras are like that on purpose too. The game was designed with the intention to make the player get 'wrong' auras on purpose to force a different strategy. xD

ohh yk what in that case sure, cuz i was changing my strat a bit, and yeah i can tell you went more on the nes feel in the graphics and res, but maybe if you made the monsters flicker when there are alot appearing on the screen could've made it atleast more nes if you wanted

If they flickered when there were a lot on screen that would conflict with their death animation, in which they flick and split in half, but I get what you mean.

yeah true lol, since when they die they flicker, but if we ignore the performance aspect the game def looks pretty nes :)
