this is such a charming and quirky game!, it takes a while figuring out to be honest but it's a thinker game so I'm not gonna complain actually, nothing much left to say but congrats on the submission.
Took me a while to figure out, but enjoyed the game once I figured out how to use my deck correctly.
Thanks! Yeah, I've kinda just accepted that's how it's gonna be lol, glad you got the hang of it
Interesting! Been playing Slay the Spire II lately and it scratched my itch for a card game.
That was the main inspiration!
Overall great job. Seemed a little complicated at the start until I got the hang of it. As others have stated, having to go back and forth to click a card then click play is a bit much.
Yeah, totally. I will be changing that as soon as the jam ends lol
Very cool design. Card games aren't really my thing, I won't lie, but I will try not to let that affect my rating. I will tell you, this game is pretty cool! I feel like if you could bring back a card after playing it, it would be nice (before ending turn). Also, being able to see stats of your players when attacking would be nice. Overall, a super solid game!
you can see their stats if you hover over them! I have gotten comments about pulling cards back, and I didn’t want it at first, but I might add it. Thanks!
Very impressive all round, only thing to suggest is making the cards draggable rather than going back and forth to the play button.
Thanks! Yeah, I'll probably add a hot key to play cards, as well as double click to play cards in the future.
This was a really fun play! The puns were fast and funny and the gameplay was quick and engaging. Will definitely be playing again :)
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it
You've got a lot of cool synergies that really make this game interesting! The style and visual effects are also effective and crunchy. I think these types of games can be difficult to get started in, especially with many different mechanics and ways to play, so it could be worth it to have a smaller tutorial sections that introduces an even smaller portion of the game so that the player can digest the information more easily. Otherwise, you have a lot of great stuff here
This is good advice, and it is what I’m planning on doing in the future! Thanks for playing, glad you liked it
simple but fun
I like the sound-effects the most
and the screen shake gave a whole different vipe
