Don't worry too much about the Steam Proton issue. Some of the submissions had issues, others didn't. Kind of a toss up. Not sure what the main issue is on any of them. And your not alone in the "running out of time" department.

Well that's interesting with the black screen. There should be a Game Over screen if you happen to die so you can try again. I'll have to look into it.

I had a bit of trouble getting it to run via Steam Proton (had to back it down to the latest v10). It would be nice to have a menu or way to close out the game either on victory or if your just done playing. Overall great job. Might be fun to allow for distracting/alerting the wizard when moving objects.

I was unable to install. The setup executable would not install correctly via Steam Proton Experimental. Any chance for a web build? Might be out of the question considering how big just the installer is.

Overall great job. Seemed a little complicated at the start until I got the hang of it. As others have stated, having to go back and forth to click a card then click play is a bit much.

Yes. I was able to download but I still couldn't get it working on Linux with Proton as it just didn't run. I did play the web version. There's a lot of reading. Text is a bit small (my eyes are aging, lol). Graphics are pretty decent. Text could use better formatting if only to filter out the important details.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how useful the controls page would be. I had limited space and the text in Gamemaker's sprite editor didn't match not did it look readable. I also wasn't sure how to go about making scrollable text boxes either.

Being pressed for time, there are no sounds currently so you didn't miss anything there.

It's all those danged textures, but damn they look good.

Yeah, that last room was supposed to be a boss room, but I had to cut it for time. The main idea was to get up to like 100 rats by the end of the game for the boss and yes limiting how much you could get at various points so it wasn't always infinite. Some of the enemies were also supposed to be able to tear through the rats limiting numbers to give extra challenge.

That is one hell of a maze, well done. Is there an end or is it just endless? I got up to about level 8 and it seemed to reset. Not sure if I hit 100% detection or not.

Little confusing at first. Didn't know you could pick up the settlers to buy more things. Once I figured that out I managed to complete it. Pretty fun.

I had team issues. This was all I could manage in the 1.5-2 weeks I had left after it was sorted out. I definitely had more ideas for what could be done with the rats like bosses and other puzzle types. Might come back to this in the coming months to build it out a bit more.

Gameplay is pretty solid, though a bit confusing. Graphics are fantastic. Needs a retry button instead of "Retire" button that just quits out of the whole thing. Maybe a leader board too.

Not bad. Flight feels a bit clunky. Would be nice to be able to strafe a bit to orbit the bigger ships. Didn't seem like that was an option with any of the ships. Also not sure what keyboard controls were available for the special abilities. Kept having to click on the images to use which took away from aiming normal weapons.

That makes sense, but some of the issues I was experiencing was like slippery ice-like floors on the level with the 4 buttons. Just trying to walk to the button was causing me to skate passed it. Also the runnable walls were a little too sticky when not in front of them but to the side on a black non-runnable wall, if that makes sense. That also may have just been me stuck using the grapple without realizing.

I don't have access to your game's page so I can't test it.

Highly polished gameplay, very well done. Almost requires a controller. I was not able to get my working for the browser. I feel like the audio for that woman's voice can be cleaned up. It's a bit gravelly and echoy.

Short but fun

Such a fun and simple game. I'm already addicted and need more. Graphics remind me of Manual Samuel which is a hilarious game in it's own right.

I do love swarms of things

Oh boy, you're lucky I just finished Outlast and Amnesia not too long ago. I got to the second floor but didn't finish after. I couldn't turn the flashlight on. Is there a button for it? I was just riding the walls to get around when the lights went out.
Could probably use some more polish with wall decorations in the long hallway. Maybe they could be extra cleanup tasks. The barrel "maze" on the first floor was also a bit repetitive. Maybe try varying up the placement.

Interesting mechanic. I feel like the wall textures need some work, especially in the big areas. Getting too close was causing me to lose my bearings in the room. The physics also seemed overly sensitive as well. I could definitely see this being fun with a bunch of people in the same room.

I wish I could take more credit for that, but most of the art is from a free asset pack from Craftpix.net. I did have to modify a couple sprites to get what I needed though, like the rathole. I did piece together the help menu animation though, with the help of Gamemaker's onion skinning tool.

Is this broken? After first day, door opens to black screen.
