Updates and bug fixes need to be done after. They responded to something similar in another thread.

Seems to be like this nullifies that since this is basically extending the deadline by 4 days for some but not for everyone otherwise it wouldnt be fair. Also if its not stated on the home page rules but is a reply to someone else ? Welp I guess ill leave it as is then. Kinda not your usual game jam but i had fun regardless.

According to the reply above (from them in this thread) it sounds like these new late submissions arent eligible for the prize, but moreso just to be included for the submission page I guess?

Hi Gizmo199! Yes that is correct; late submissions are not going to be eligible for the prize. We are doing late submissions to allow developers to have their game featured in the submissions page of the game jam.
