CoolmathGames.com, the premier destination for fun and learning, is running the Coolmath Game Jam 2026! If you grew up playing Coolmath Games, here is your chance to get your game featured on our site!

At Coolmath, we believe games can do more than entertain. They help players learn in meaningful, memorable ways. For this, we have started a new initiative to help teach players about financial literacy. We are currently building a collection of financial literacy games to teach topics such as budgeting, investing, planning, saving, and scam awareness.

Some of our most popular titles already explore business, money, and decision-making. Now, we’re inviting you to take this a step further! You have one month to make a game based on the jam theme. Submit your game for a chance to win a CASH prize (up to $10,000!) AND publish your game on coolmathgames.com!

We can't wait to see what you'll create!

What does this term actually mean? It's defined as "costing more than one can afford," but there are plenty of other meanings, too!

To get the best score for your game, try to make a game that centers around players using money wisely or teaching financial literacy concepts. If you need inspiration, check out our collection of financial literacy games, business games, and money games!

The winning games will be published on coolmathgames.com! Prizes are:

• 1st place: $10,000
• 2nd place: $5,000
• 3rd place: $5,000

Some winners may have the opportunity to further develop their game and have it featured with our collection of financial literacy games!

Games will be judged on the following:

• Theme - How closely did you stick to the theme "Break the Bank"?
• Originality - How unique is the game?
• Fun - How fun is the game?
• Learning impact - How educational is your game?
• Polish and Presentation - How complete and refined is the game? This includes graphics, audio, UI/UX and overall cohesiveness of the experience.

• Your game must be related to the theme
• Your game must be playable on a web browser
• Your game must be your original work, and can't be published anywhere else
• You can use assets not made by you so long as you have the proper license to use them and credit the source
• Games submitted cannot contain mature content such as violence, gore, NSFW, or offensive content
• Be friendly & respectful of others
• You can submit a game solo or on a team! If you choose to team up, you can only be on ONE team
• You can use any game engine to make your game

• For US-residents only

• Your game must be hosted on itch.io and cannot link to external downloads
• Submit your game before the deadline (June 7, 2026 at 11:59pm PST)
