I like these mechanics, but do you have any more information about the setting? Is it setting agnostic? Post-apocalyptic? I'd be interested to know a little more about that.

The setting is open ended at the moment. Except for the lore regarding bursting( that would be for another devlog)

It's a system that can be used in any situation. A lore book is something i'm still debating.

On the one hand not committing makes it open ended let the players fully decide.

On the other hand I have enough to create a world if I want to.

At the same time I was also playing with the idea that if I can get enough following it could be interesting concept to make it a joint endeavor. writing the lore with the players and GM's making it canon somehow.

I'm open to suggestions.

It seems from what I've read that the obvious setting would be post-apocalyptic, just because a lot of the descriptions you gave sounded like they came from that setting. I think that would be a good fit. Plus, the title and explanation of the system make me think post-apoc.. But you're right, it could be used in other settings. It doesn't make me think fantasy, but it could be used in it. It would probably also be a good fit for horror.

I Agree, that's why I haven't committed to a setting yet. I was thinking of modules in different settings. Keeping it flexible.

That's not a bad idea. As a total novice, I've been advised to kind of stick to a particular style or genre, but not be afraid to share with others if there's interest. For instance, I'm kind of trying to reach the Call of Cthulhu, horror audience, but if there was interest in a 5E version, I'd totally do it.

I'm thinking of the first non lore /"lore" book to have like 5 different settings. Each in a different genre. To showcase the games flexibility. And then afterwards bring out books that have like "lore modules " with each time a example one shot. But to make them all stand alones. You could have connections but thar shouldnt be the main focus.
