I beat it!! yaay!๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช

 As someone who is very passionate about tower defense games, I really have to congratulate you for pulling this off in such a short time!! Love how you implemented the theme on it!! I had a hell of good fun!!

You are going to forgive my wall of text, and I know myself that 10 days is short to go beyond core mechanics, but I just love these games so much and I see real potential here!! So here is my feedback that you can treat more like 'my personal taste' rather than something to 'fix' in your game, ok?  :

  • I think upgrades popup could be simpler and occupy less screen space, if possible. I know that this isn't super 'RTS ' and there is only 3 tower slots, but it's nice to see what's going on at the field when things are running..
  • I believe there is space for prices or level info on the modifiers to be onscreen or at least when we hover over them, so we can plan as we go, instead of clicking through each of them all to check for prices.
  • One quality of life improvement is that the  'connections' options for turret could also be just click and drag from the tower, so we don't have to click>>popup>>drag. Whenever I switched to a new turret it was many clicks, haha!, 
  • Again, personal taste, but I'm not a huge fan of the bouncing buttons and icons when hovering.. it's just personal prefrence, but I think it would be nice just a simple shine or even just a scale pop, instead of scale AND bounce .
  • I'm not sure if there is a limit for the connections you can make.. I was just linking every power up to every turret... haha! It would be a nice layer of strategy to give the player limited choice of what turret goes with what power up, depending on the wave and strategy.. just food for thought...
  • The bullet sounds went a bit louder  when every turret was firing... it overshadowed the music a bit
  • I like that there is a meta progression, where you don't lose your money if you fail.. very forgiving while still being super enjoyable  ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Š
  • I think the knockback could use a little bit of calibration, if you get the chance... I found a loophole by wave 10  onwards where some of the big orc with sword were  just knockbacked infintely and never approached me.. hehe) 
  • On the ugrade icons, It  would be nice to have them show up the current level somehow (maybe with colors)
  • Another quality of life would be clicking outside any popup could close it too.. navigation through popup heavy games should be very fast.. :)
  • Another personal preference, but It would be nice if the critical shots and slows had a different effect (sound or color).. adds more layer of 'growth' feeling, and rewards the player for buying and upgrading power ups and seeing them taking effect on the field..
  • For the future, it would be nice to add a mechanic that could give the player some agency... after wave 15 I was mostly idling, sitting on my upgrades ... maybe something like placing a friendly unit on the field or a localized  AOE buff/debuff ...

Solid entry, I had fun with it! Congrats again on all the work! Hope you develop this more!! โœจ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you for taking your time and giving me all these pointers as feedback. These are vey good suggestions and can be implemented in future. Lot of the suggestions I also wanted to do but could not finish due to time constraint, sepcially the crit damage popup to make it feel more impactful. I had so less time that I could not write description for modifiers properly. But I will do these in future. I also loved the uninterupted view of the battlefield. May be I can move all upgrades on the side and shrink the main battle area. I also could not configure perfect sfx and option for volume control due to shortage of time. 90% of my time went to making the modifiers work well with each other, it was hard. I think still there are minor bugs when one modifiers interacts with another such as knockback and pierce.
But I will ofcourse put limit on the maximum connection per gun post jam, also make the modifers proper tier system.

Yeah, I completely get the lack of time, and that 'AAAAAA' feeling of not being able to add everything we wanted.. haha! But again, it was a great solid fun entry to play!!
