this thing is oozing with style, from the menu alone the simple replacement of "Start" to "Create", and "Quit" to "Refuse" instantly beams you with the kinda vibes this game is hittin u with

the music really makes you FEEL like your watching the world get made by the gods themselves, and i love the detail that the music just shifts ever so slightly from the main menu to the actual game, and im not sure but i think extra instruments get added in when you start summoning guys? which is an AMAZING detail if it is true, and theres just SOOOO much care put into the audio visual.

speaking of the audio visual, HOLY SHIT THE VISUAL PRESENTATION, DAMN THIS GAME IS BEAUTIFUL
a good measure of a games worth is how much attention to detail is in the water (joke i dont actually believe that water is all that matters) and by god you made each tile shift up and down on random intervals from each other and shoot little particles beneath them in a weird isometric view without any like obvious screw ups THIS IS SO PRETTY AND COOL AND EFFORT FILLED AHHH I LOVE IT
there is a similair level of effort put into the other graphical elements of the thing its just so STYLISH it's just OOZING with STYLE and VIBES and AHGHHAGHEHGHRHGRHHRGHHGHH

i love the way you like made the pixels crunch up when zooming out i love the way the different types of tiles mesh with eachother on the screen i love the paralax background THIS IS COOOLL

very unique concept, i would say that the beggining of the universe being formed by the gods themselves is pretty odd, and its dope too

i would say the only thing this game is weak in is gameplay but that DOESNT MATTER because theres NOT A RATING FOR IT which means according to the sam jam rating system this game is PERFECT

Thank you for all the kind words.

To burst a couple bubbles, the other instruments come in at a set time. The pixel scrunching is also just a result of the window scaling used, ultimately just a setting, but I suppose it is still a choice made. The rest though, I'm glad you noticed and liked them. It's rewarding to be seen.

I had intended for there to be much more for gameplay, including another demiurge, and special buildings that spawn in special situations. Discovering them and uncovering the lore of the world being built out before you was the crux of the intended experience. I ran right out of time for basically any of that. RIP the giant tower I had planned, but hints of everything remain.
