Sgorbio/sgorbi (without the h) means both a ugly person or a quick scribble in italian. I misspelled when writing it the first time and thought it was cool so I left the error in the title to give it more personality.

I love it.

I was using Kagi translate on the text (sadly I understand little beyond English, and Italian not at all).  And for the character sheet title "Scheda dello Sghorbio" it translated it two different ways:

  • Freak Sheet
  • Garbage Pail Kid Card

Either way, I love the implication of these messy little weirdos.

Related question:  The translation software names the spells simply, "Silence, Bubble, Arm, Shock, Rooting Challenge, Dart, Halt, Silver Tongue, Clamor, Heal, Anti-Undead, Enchant Challenge, Skeletal"

Are the untranslated spell names pretty standard Italian as the software is assuming?  Or are the names more wordplay (similar to the book title) and the translator just isn't getting that?

The spells name are standard italian word, and will stay untranslated in english.
