Enemy Defeated

It was fun.

The artwork is very good and I specially like the visual feedback when an enemy is destroyed, the music is catchy and the sound effects fit. The game controls well, the speed of the ships and bullets is on point and I like that the game ends with a boss fight. The voice acting is a nice touch, in particular the intro in verses, this is awesome.

Maybe a pixelated font and energy bar would better fit the artwork. I noticed sound going louder, the game might be playing the same sound several times in the same instant or something, I know I've been struggling with that too but concluded it's better not to play the same sound again when it's already playing. Finally I'm not fan of the invisible walls especially during the boss fights. These are minor caveats.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for trying our game. The time was limited and we were not able to handle correctly the sound volume.

My comment was wrong by the way, what I'm actually doing is playing a sound only once (I even only play one sound at all) when multiple ships shoot at the same moment, the same sounds may be playing more than once as long as they didn't started at the the same moment but yeah that's probably not perfect, I've been struggling with that and you probably do better than I when you have the time ;) .
