everyone has their own option about ai what I think do what you want to do some people hate it some people love it

Why the f*ck do you ask and waste everybody's time if you don't actually care about the answers?

I do care about the answer and want to see if a should make my own music or ask an ai to make it I just want to tell everyone that everyone has their own option

how much experience you do alrady have, or better said is it just music thats a problem, and you code and create the art by hand, further do you have team members, like splittin the game creation process, your question may sound easy, but you gave us not enough info about your status and also budget, becasue sure a human can feel art, and simple click done ai stuff is like shining in the dark, but if you use ai not in total depence itg can increase your workflow, but you also will hear ai slop or other insults by chance, then do you want to create a free or paid game, do you want to entger steam,  if you'Re willing to give me these facts i can only by my experince and by my word with the best intend  for you to reach your goal :)

Just go through the music that’s available for free to game developers on this site and choose one. You don’t even need to be as nice a community member as to leave a star rating or appreciative comment on your favorites. That would still be worlds better than ignoring all the actual musicians and their generous offerings round here.

Use it, don't use it, I think most players just want transparency, e.g. if you use AI, disclose that it is AI.

Though it is worth noting that some platforms, bundles, jams, etc, will not accept projects that use GenAI at all.

A significant portion of players do not want AI slop at all.

"we conducted an online survey (n = 42) with game design professionals, followed by in-depth online interviews (n = 9)"

I don't have to read more than one page at all - just the introduction tells me this has nothing to do with what players want, and even if it did, n = 42 is not remotely statistically significant. This study is blatantly unrelated with my claim, and even if it wasn't, it could easily be dismissed.
