That’s amazing! The idea of dragging and dropping items to change the game stats (like speed and difficulty) is a brilliant way to interpret the theme. It feels like you’re hacking the game to win. The visuals are nice too! My only suggestion would be adding a checkpoint system; it’s a bit frustrating to go back to level 1 if you lose at level 4. Maybe different character designs for each level would make it even better. Great work!

About the checkpoints: you're right, it's a bit hardcore, but I wanted the 'system crash' to feel punishing. Thanks for the suggestions, they make a lot of sense for a post-jam version!
