omg I used this mechanic in a similar way, but here it feels so much better! However I run sometimes in some issues where I think I got the signal right but was not progressing

so when that happens it means one of your values needs to be negative. I didn't think about it when I made the game initially but allowing positive and negative values introduces the opportunity of a "mirror wave" situation. I didn't have the time/know-how to avoid that scenario and maintain the full range of values 😅
