When it comes to updates right now, there's 2 things to consider:
If you're fixing bugs, especially major bugs that make it hard to play, you are allowed to update your game and update the jam build version of the game.
If you are adding new content then you need to make a separate post jam version and label it as such.

Overall if you have an update you want to add that makes it easier for Joel to understand or play, we recommend adding it as a post jam ver at the very least. In this case however, you're fine to update the jam build.
Yeah that is my main intention, I will upload a video from both versions so you can see the differences so it makes things easier for you and the rest of people judging and testing the game to see if they are valid or not.
